ME-109s são modelos de aviões alemães. Spitfires (cuspidores de fogo) eram as aeronaves usadas pelos ingleses.
A música fala das batalhas que ajudaram a decidir a segunda guerra mundial que foram travadas entre a RAF, Real Air Force, forças aéreas inglesas e a Luftwafe, forças aéreas alemãs, sobre os céus da Inglaterra.
