Review #2: The Mako Section of Green Glitter
Author: Safox
Overall statement: A shrine within a shrine to Kino Makoto that relies on content, writing, and other fun stuff
I noticed this site a while ago, when I saw a lot of fanart done by Safox on othe sites. It was ok the first time I visited; the layout looked so weird on Netscape, but luckily it's been replaced by a nice, simple blue layout. I like the bar on the top with the links to the different "glitter" shrines; the stars on the top and on the pic are also nice. However, there are about three different blue-type colors on the page that might be matched up better, but that's just me being super-picky. ^_^

Now on to Green Glitter, a shrine to Mako-chan. Oh wait, it's also a shrine to Fuu from Magic Knights Rayearth aand Ferio from the same series. Looks good. The graphics are a tad deformed, but presented well. I also like the little linkies at the bottom (I always love buttons).  I think I'm only going to look at Makoto's section since I don't know anything about Ferio or Fuu, and they would take too long to review anyway.

A nice little layout with a gorgeous background and nice graphics. I like the colour used on this page, and how the picture looks like Mako's surrounded by light. There's a nice picture by Safox, I'm guessing, on the info page, and another pretty layout. Might want to take out a few unnecessary paragraph spaces so that the text doesn't go longer than the picture. However this looks to be very in-depth.
You could use the <P ALIGN=JUSTIFY> tags on the "past" page, and make some separate paragraphs.
I like the Makoto "Present" page...the colour is, again, nice. Some spelling errors, nothing too serious. The information and opinions presented are interesting and insightful. (One note: a "back" link would be nice. ^^)
And now to round it out we have the "future" page...you might want to proofread it for run-on sentences and missing fragments, etc. Looks sorta unfinished.
You might want to specify what attacks are from the anime and manga on the attacks page, and make everything one font.
Ooh, we have letters to the senshi, how nice. ^^ The layout on Usagi's page is kinda screwy, but the letter is very sweet. Actually, all the letters are sweet. ^^
Oops, the "DiC" page doesn't work on Netscape, and the title says "links". ^_^;;
The friends page is nice and long, with edited pics of the senshi, both inner and outer, on the sides. But the page ends rather abruptly; a conclusion or at least a "back" link would be nice. ^_^

Phew! Now the entertainment. I like the interview, it was really funny. ^_^ I might change the font on the page, but I might be the only one who doesn't like Comic Sans MS. ::ponders:: The "directory" link at the bottom is broken, too.
The doll was cute, but the layout was somewhat messed up, probably Netscape's fault. The "crush" page was a very nice idea, but the layout messed up again *_*;;
The cell with all the text in it had the default background and, with the black text, was pretty much unreadable, until I highlighted the text.
The title on the "Final Battle" page also says "links" ^_^;; aaand it also doesn't come out on Netscape. I read it through the source code, but I'm not going to critique it since that didn't show much. ^_-
I really like the tomboy page! I'm always getting confused about what Mako fans like - the femininity, or the masculinity? I never thought Mako was THAT feminine, but others seemed to think so. Except, ah, Netscape screwed up again and the text is unreadable. The background of the table doesn't show up, and it's green text against that dark background pic. *_*;; A spellchecker might be of good use here, too.
Wow! A very detailed description of Mako's clothes. Cool. I always thought Mako got the best clothes, too.
Where did this song come from? Is it actual song lyrics, or a poem? It's very nice, either way.
The Zodiac page is interesting, too. Just maybe use a spellchecker ^_-

Hokay, I'm going to skip the "opinion" page since there's not much of a point in reviewing opinions, and go straight to the interviews. Pretty cool.  This is a great idea; it's fun to see how different Jupiter fans compare. It's also very fun to read. ^_^

Oooook! I can't even attempt to review all the rest of the stuff, but I'd say this Mako shrine is getting a good start! Just clean up some of the little stuff like the page titles and "back" links, get a copy of Netscape to make sure the layouts don't look silly, get a spellchecker and fine-tune it! I'm sure it will go far. ^_^
