The U.S.S. Enterprise D, the most advanced of all five Enterprises yet to date. The U.S.S. Enterprise D has many charges with comparison to the original Enterprise. The Enterprise D, is twice as large and contains eight times the interior volume as the original Enterprise. The Enterprise serves a small community to it's 1012 persons living on broad (mostly crew and their families). The Enterprise is equipped with the most up to date computer technology. The Enterprise D is equipped with back panels which on touch or voice command will become information displays.

The Ship:

The center of command is the bridge, able to control very part of the ship. There are 15 transporters locations located in different locations of the ship. The transporter can beam any person or thing up to 10,000 miles. Holodeck, an area that can be programmed to simulate landscape and weather condition, for used with training, exercise, and recreation.

Defense Capabilities:

The Enterprise is armed with 12 phaser banks and two photon torpedo tubes to make her more than capable of defending herself in the event of battle. If necessary, the Enterprise is able to out run nearly any ship in the galaxy, with its hign speed capabilities. The Enterprise saucer section can separate from it's battle hull and operate independently, during an event of an attack. This allows the crew of the battle hull section to engage into battle, while the saucer section can escape from danger, carry it's crew's family and civilians.
