My Medicine Wheel

I have always wanted to build my own Medicine Wheel Garden,
and the following are pictures I have taken as it progresses.
Check back from Time to time to see
have the garden changes and grows.

Someone once asked me
"What is the Medicine Wheel to me?
I replied it was my sacred place with Creator.
It is the sacred circle, my earth walk.

My medicine Wheel is a very special place
for me right outside my back door.
I have been asked so many times
"What if you don't have the space to build a Wheel you can stand in.
I have no need to stand in my Wheel
but am aware of what position I am seeking the lessons from
or what resonates with me at moment
and where I need to focus on the Wheel.
You do not need a large area to build your medicine wheel.

The Medicine Wheel Garden 7/10/01

As it began, the stones were gathered from
friends, along the shores of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron
and as each one let us gather them for the Medicine Wheel.
