Reflection of who I am
In a hidden place, I look to see
Who is
this person, the one I call me
I see a child who romps and who plays
I see
a woman, who's now turning gray
I see a mother with a child of her own.
I
see a woman who now stands alone
I see a woman who once gave her heart
She
gently holds it, all broken apart.
I see a face filled with hopes of new
Love
In the future and prayer to the Great Spirit above
To find someone
with whom my life I can share
My hopes and my dreams, my laughter and
cares
As time passes on, I see the child who still plays
As I wait for the
one to share the rest of my days
I've looked inside to see who I am
I am
child, I am woman, I am all that I am...
