PERFECTION

I smell the fear you hate to tell,
About your life you speak so well.
You look so tempting in the night,
While telling me that wrong is right.
You try so hard to hide your fate,
For me you can't sedate the hate.
I see the love you long to give
Without this love I can not live.
So taste my poison through this kiss,
Who knew it would turn out like this.
This envy of my eyes you feel,
For nothing through your eyes seems real.

There is a soft knock heard at the door and as the door opens he see's her sitting at the vanity, but she is staring out the window beside the vanity, staring into the night. He knew he would find her here, for when there are no visitors in the castle and she is not at home in the "Realm of Night", she can be found here, staring into the darkness, waiting......*

*his voice low....he says.......*

"M'lady, there is a visitor in the great hall, he wishes to see you"

*and he hears her softly whisper.......* "Tell him I will be with him in a moment and offer him a glass of our best"......... the answer that he knew would come, for she never passes up the opportunity to show a visitor around the castle and introduce him to her family and friends of the night and he notices the smile that softly parts her lips and the glint that comes to her emerald eyes, and he smiles as he leaves the room, knowing that the ~Vampiress~ loves the hunt and is ready to play*

*she enters the great hall in a swirl of black cape and mist, her emerald eyes glowing with the thrill of the hunt*
