LaFitte's Bar. Said to be the oldest continuously occupied tavern in the US - over 300 years. Still packs them in on Bourbon Street.

Back at Wolfendale's Club Amateur Show:

The beautiful and talented MC, Miss Aysa Alexander. I think that she's one of those rare and precious cinnamon Creole beauties unique to "Nawlins" and the surrounding bayous. This picture doesn't really do her georgeousness justice. She's also a real nice, yet funny MC without the nasty Don Rickles edge that many MC's have. Just a real sweetheart. She has a sultry, sexy, deep husky voice that just drives the men wild.

A Cute Young Amateur:

This girl is quite an athlete. Did some nice little flips and stuff. Made this old girl ache just watching.

On the heart of Bourbon street is "Club OZ", a great dance club that has occasional drag shows (at a minimum every Wednesday night). Lots of T's come to dance on regular nights though. A shot from a Wed Show. Unfortunately the club was packed to the gils and I couldn't get very close to the stage for pictures.:

The girl in front is the truly special Teryl Lynn Foxx, who has won countless awards for FI pageants. She's also a fulltime truly transgendered girl (as opposed to the part-time "drag queen" guys) although I think that she's still pre-op and she's involved in many transgendered oriented organizations in the New Orleans area. Not just a beauty but also a brain, she's a college grad who used to teach and do guidance councilling. I met her by accident at another club a couple of nights later without all the fancy clothes and greasepaint and she's just as lovely a girl in jeans, little or no makeup, and her cute curly natural hair. A real nice person too. I could see that all the locals knew and loved her. For closeups and personal info check out her website below
