Nerf Wars

This game is played with 2+ players (the best size is around 6-10). The object of the game is the person who occupies the most "rooms" before the time runs out. There are 2 sides, usually with the same amount of people on each side. Each side picks a room in the house to be their base. Every player starts out with a Nerf gun. All the other rooms that aren't used for bases are called "rooms". When the game starts, the timer begins. The timer is almost always set for 7 or 8 minutes, although you may wish to change this time slightly. Once the timer begins, players run out of their bases. They then try to go into the "rooms" before the opposing side does. If a player gets into the "room" before the opposing side, they may declare it that sides territory. Each team has something to represent that "room" is theirs, such as a colored towel or a toothbrush; whatever you can use (note: each side may not have more than one thing representing that the "room" is theirs, they may only use one thing. Ie: they may not use a towel for some "rooms" and a toothbrush in others, but may use a towel in every "room" they occupy.) Each side uses a different thing to represent they own the "room". When a side occupies a room, they place their markers there. From then on, they may occupy it for 30 seconds before it is free to occupy again. However, someone on that side may stay there and wait for the 30 seconds. Once the 30 seconds are over and the other team wants to take it over and the person is guarding it, then they must challenge the guard in order to occupy it. If there is no guard guarding, occupying is without a challenge. A challenge means that both players try to shoot the other person in the "room". The player who scores the first hit on the other player wins and occupies the "room". Players may also run around outside of "rooms" (such as hallways, or rooms that you decide no one can occupy) and shoot other players. If the other players get shot once outside a room or when challenging another player, they must go to their base and stay there for 1 minute. Once the timer is up, the game is over and each side counts how many "rooms" they occupy.
