Mrs. Galbraith has been a secretary for many
years and has worked at Westmount for 15 years. She enjoys the students
because she thinks that they are enthusiastic and eager. She enjoys the
teachers because she thinks that they are funny, friendly and helpful..
She enjoys listening to the Westmount student choir. She likes the school
purple because that is one of her favorite colors and because Nogard is
purple. What she loves about being a secretary at this school is the variety
of tasks and it is never boring. She was a secretary at Westsyde Elementary
and Mc Arthur Park Secondary. She thinks that the school is cool because
we have cool kids. Her message to the students are Have fun' and work hard".
In the future she plans to go to Germany, and play the piano.

Mr. Lusk’s first name is Ernie. He is Westmount
Elementary’s official janitor. He says he is 29 but he is really 44. He
has been a great janitor for ten years, and has been a janitor at Westmount
for two years.
He enjoys brushing peoples hair with brooms but only when they need it! He loves all the kids, grades kindergarten to seven. He uses some dangerous chemicals such as Vandalism Remover which takes graffiti off of the walls, floors etc. Westmount doesn't have much graffiti any ways. He has worked at about 20 different schools, such as Sahali Secondary, Summit Elementary, and Dufferin Elementary. Westmount is his favorite so far. He enjoys kids that offer to help. Mr. Lusk’s favorite room in the school is the kindergarten room. He gets up for work at 5:30' and arrives at Westmount at 6:30am. In that length of time he makes coffee and cleans. He has 2 daughters and 1 son. He also has a lovely wife. We love having Mr. Lusk as our janitor and we're sure any other school would love having him too! By Melissa and Layne.
