I will use this section only for headlines with the rest of the story to be located somewhere else on our website, i.e., reunion and other get together information, death notices, and other notes of interest. After they have been on here for awhile, I will remove them and they will still be left in the proper location such as the reunion page or the Memoriam page.

Classmate Ann Goggins Offerman lost her husband this morning in a tragic accident on I-57 just outside of K3 on his way to work. Read more in the Memoriam Section - Page 3
10/23/2007 I added a memoriam page off the main memoriam page. It is for obits, pics, etc. for Kayhawk families. You'll find the obits on there right now for mothers and fathers. I will also add siblings and children and spouses if you send them to me.
6/5/2007 I've had some ideas rolling around in my thick skull for awhile. Whether or not they come to fruition depends on you. I have added a page for Kayhawk Classifieds. If you have something to sell you want me to put on there I will be happy to do so. You must send in an expiration date with the ad or it will automatically be pulled after 30 days. You can also have it pulled (preferred) by letting me know if something sells! On the classifieds page I will also be happy to put a scan of a business card on there for you or a small blurb about your Kayhawk owned business. Send me your card or card scan today!
The second page I added was a Kayhawk Veterans page. I would like to put the military pictures and a brief service record of our Kayhawk men and women who have served on that page. Please contact me about this if you are interested in sharing your veteran status with us. We appreciate your service to our country and would like the opportunity to honor you for it.
The link to the song lyrics page was somehow disabled. I found that out and set it up again. You may send in your favorite words to songs that you would like to share with your fellow kayhawks. Are any of you songwriters? If so, we would be especially happy to see those lyrics! The songs Jim sings in the shower do not count!

Last week I added on a webpage for Marsha Stephens (Kerschke). You can link to it from either the alumni site or the Links site. I also sent out an e-mail to all those Class of 75 alumni that I had an e-mail address for. I will be updating the page with their e-mail addresses during the next two weeks as they respond back to me. Two former teachers have responded back - Mr. Ben Peyton and also Mary Thompson. You may remember Mary, as Ms. Mary Otten. She has since married one of our very own Kayhawk teachers, Mr. Thompson, who was our automotive instructor. Both Mr. Peyton and Mrs. Thompson have welcomed your contact. You will find their e-mail addresses along with your fellow alumni at the Links page.
Please remember to put either myself or the e-mail address for the website on your list for notification if you ever change your e-mail address!
I'm still looking for more pictures from the past and present to post on the site. Please e-mail me your pictures today! I am also more than happy to put together a Family Album page for you as I did for Tony M. And Marsha S. To do so, I must have the pictures from you. You can e-mail them to me or send them via U.S. Mail, packaged well for their safety, and I will return them to you once I post them.
Don't forget to visit our Message Board/Forum. It is free to you although they do ask you to register. I pay the fee myself out of my own pocket and will continue to do so as long as it gets used, but it has been getting pretty sparse there lately. Soon, I will take the lack of postings there as a lack of interest as my renewal date is approaching. If you like the site, use it!!

I added two more full pages to the New Paces publication. No one is submitting anything but I still taunt and torment with my own! If I'm that bad you can beg me to stop - I'll consider it, but the cost is - one of your own!
This past week, I also added a second page to Marsha's site - it includes her wedding picture,her 25th anniversary picture,and pictures of her two beautiful children.
8 -28 -02 I updated some of the Kankakee links on the home page and added two more.
8-28-02 I added a folder entitled "Inspirational" to the message board. It has a collection of various inspirational messages I have received in e-mails posted. You can post one of your own!
10-02 added a recipe section to the message board. Share!!
11/06-02 I updated the e-mail section for our classmates - big time, so visit and see if your long lost friend's e-mail is there. Careful what you say the first time around - some of those e-mails are work e-mails and yes, your old girlfriend or boyfriend that you still have a torch for may be married now and it may be their spouse that reads the e-mail first!!! If your e-mail address is not there and you want it added, let me know. Don't forget to notify me if your address has changed!!! Also don't forget to check the guestbook from time to time. Sometimes someone leaves a message with their e-mail and you can write them and have their e-mail address before I find it and put it on the site.
2-13-03 New Year! Hard to believe another one has come and gone. I've added some poems to the message board and some new songs in the new section for song lyrics. I'm getting ready to add a picture of Bill Maass and Garry Nelson circa 1975 - a sad hotel room scene from when the two of them along with Doc Ziebart went down to Florida for Christmas break - they camped all but one night - spent new year's eve in a cheap hotel and drank cognac and beer and smoked cigars to bring the new year in. They had already been part of a crowd that had been tear gassed by Ft. Lauderdale police for blocking A1A highway. Oh what fun! I also found two more westview i.d.'s. I'll post those too. Why not scan yours and e-mail them to me so I can put them on?

Whew! I added two pages of Home Page for Shelley Gallagher (Jackson) and I added a section called "Kayhawk Classic Cars". Jim Enz sent me some pictures from the Westview parking lot of some of the guy's classics. Looks like Mustangs were the car of the day?? Chuck wrote me and told me he had one too but I guess no picture. Jim also sent me some 6th grade photos of some of the guys. I put them on the side with the other grade school photos. Check them out as they are kind of fun to look at. Chuck Senesac's home page for his business changed - he gave me the new address and I changed it but it is under construction yet - he said it is just about ready. WE have a couple of new people visiting the message board forum so be sure to check that out. Looks like the 'ayes' have it and the web page stands. You keep using it and I'll keep maintaining it as long as I am able and not too old and feeble. Please contribute tho, okay? Pretty please??? I Need pictures to post from then and now, poetry, and messages in the forum. I do all the rest okay??!
Got two good e-mails from new contacts for me in the last two weeks. One was from Olga Popovich. Be sure to write her and say hello to her. I think she signed in to the guestbook and forum both. I didn't realize Olga missed out on senior year at Westview as I did. She had to leave unvoluntarily and misses everyone so be sure to drop her a line. I also got a 'hey!' from Chuck Kern. It was great to hear from him too. Well, I think I'm all caught up now. Keep me busy okay? You know the saying about idle hands. Bill.

Guess it has been longer than i thought, but no body is sending me anything!! Well Shelley decided to MAKE something happen so she invited some Kayhawks to meet her on a recent trip to K3. Those pictures are posted. Check for the new link for Recent Kayhawk Gatherings on the index/home page. Some of the people you will find on there are Bubba Clark, Shelley Gallagher Jackson, Bill Maass, and I think I saw Elvis there too. There was a class of 74 guy there, by the name of FU - anyone remember him or how he got his nickname???

Well, 26 years of wedded bliss for me today! Chuck sent me a photo business card of his new venture and I posted it at the bottom of this page. Proof he survived the hurricanes anyhow although it looks like the wind was strong enough that it took some of his hair off!
He is also running a T-Shirt shop now so if you are in need of some for an event be sure to give him a call!

Also, I have posted the list of Kayhawks that we are unable to locate. Most of them we sent an invite to and it was returned - the others have been missing since the last reunion.

I added some more old time photos. FINALLY somebody else sent me some. It was just Jim and I who were willing to cough some up. I added pictures of some of the girls at Rock Creek, a formal dance picture of Mark Hudgens and friend, and also Brian Balthazor and Deb Jain. Thanks to Deb for the pictures. I also added one of Mark Mckinnon that she sent.

September 14, 2005 I've added two new pages to the website. The first is a prayer list page for those fellow Kayhawks that could use a few prayers and for you to keep them in your thoughts.
The second page is an inspirational prose page. This has short inspirational stories that have been sent to me over the years via the internet. Hopefully they will have a message for you as well.
