T H E T H R E E L I N E S T A C K F O R M A T I O N
This formation is very simular to
the line formation. However, instead of the Wingleader leading
one long line of riders, his
wingseconds are in charge of a line of riders as well. The
wingleader's line is in the
middle, while the 'seconds flank either side, making a ||| cluster.
After the leaders, the dragons
rank from bronze to green, leaving the bigger dragons to take the
larger clumps of Thread. Also
used extensively up until after the sixth pass, this formation's
major drawback was it's rigid
nature and tight grouping. This was also a major advantage, as if
the conditions were right
for Thread, its controllability factor was unparalleled. Also, unlike
the singluar line formation,
the three line stack covered a greater area, and allowed a bit more
manverability. The formation
