The Sagittarian
(Nov 22nd-Dec 21st)

Who is as the wise man? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man's wisdom madeth his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.
Ecclesiastes 8:1

Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness.
Ecclesiastes 2:13

Here is the adventurer, the philosopher, the prophet. This most desirable position of the Sun produces a nature that is jovial, generous, self-reliant, frank, outspoken and to the point, often employing good-natured sarcasm. He is the most wonderful of companions, sharing a variety of experiences, and ever ready to adventure into new projects. It is his to explore the world, travel to all corners of the earth and taste of every fruit. He has many friends, and is a great source of relief to them, with his natural ability to look to the positive side of all with which he is confronted. His main goal in life is to acquire an abundance of material for reflections. The Sagittarian is ever seeking mental expansion, and is filled with wisdom so that his advice is often sought. He loves the atmosphere and excitement of the city, but the country is his Shangri-La. He is depicted as half-horse and half-man, showing his love for freedom and sport. He loves verbal arbitration because he knows it enhances his mind, and he is known for his quick wit and jovial nature.
