at Oak Hill Cem. in Newnan, Ga.
{2} Lucile Whitlock b. 3 Sept. 1910, Ebenezer Community
Fayette Co., Ga. d. 21 July 1996 Fayette Co., GA. Marr.
26 July 1936 Newnan, Ga. to Harvey Cecil Brown b. 20 Oct.
1911 d. 23 July 1989. Both were affiliated with the
Baptist Church and are buried in Westminster Memorial
Cemetery Fayette Co., Ga. Harvey was the son of Henry
Marcellus Brown and Annie Lizzie Brown. He was a Farmer
and school bus driver. Lucile retired a schoolteacher.

Fayette Co., GA. d. 5 Dec. 1990 Coweta Co., Ga. Marr.
2 Mar. 1935 in Alexander City, Ala. to Martha Louise
Ford. b. 9 July 1918 d. 3 Sept. 1983 Coweta Co., Ga.
Both were affiliated with the Baptist Church are
buried in Forest Lawn Cem. Newnan, Ga. Martha was
the daughter of Andrew Wesley Ford and Elizabeth
Carrie Brand (Bessie). Paul was employed by the
Coco Cola Co.

to Joe Carl Logan. b. 3 Feb. 1904 d. 25 Oct. 1962.
Both were affiliated with the Baptist Church are
buried in Oak Hill Cem. Newnan, Ga. Joe was the son
of Benjamin Logan and Sally Tredway Logan. Paul was
a factory worker and Sally a schoolteacher.

{7} Edna Whitlock b. 22 Feb. 1919, Oak Grove Fayette
Co., Ga. d. 10 Oct. 2000 Coweta Co., Ga. Marr. 12 Oct.
1941 in Wedowee, Ala. to James Harvey Rooks b. 6 Oct.
1918 d. 12 Oct. 1941. Both were affiliated with the
Baptist Church. James was the son of James frank Rooks
and Mary Virginia O'Neal. He retired from the US Postal
Service and a self-employed Grocery. Mary retired a
Registered Nurse. James was a PFC in the US Army in
WWII stationed at Ft. Kerns Salt Lake City, Utah.

Fayette Co., Ga. Marr. 24 May 1947 Newnan Coweta
Co., Ga. d. 3 Aug. 1990.
{9} Dennis Coleman Whitlock b. 23 Mar. 1923,
Oak Grove Fayette Co., Ga. d. 13 Jan. 2001
Newnan, Ga. Dennis worked for the Colonial Stores
and retired from the US Postal Service. Never
married and was affiliated with the Baptist Church.
He was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, 252nd
Combat Engineers in WWII. Trained at Ft. McClellan,
Ala. and discharged at Ft. Bragg, NC. Served in
the European theatre-England, Holland, France and
mainly in Germany.
{10} James Wendell Whitlock b. 10 June 1925, Roscoe
Road Coweta Co., Ga. Marr. 6 April 1947 Sargent
Coweta Co., Ga. to Elva Sylvanus Allen b. 12 Jan.
1930. Both are affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Elva is the daughter of Sylvanus Gardner Allen and
Vanilu Copeland Allen. James (Called by Wendell),
now retired, went to work for Coweta County in
1948. He was warden of the Coweta correctional
insituition and superintendent of public works
He was a 2nd Class Boatswain Mate in the US Nave
in WWII. Stationed at Camp Perry, Va. served in the
South Pacific Theatre and Occupation Duty in Japan.

{11} Myrtle Whitlock b. 19 Oct. 1927, Roscoe Road
Coweta Co., Ga. Marr. 27 Jan. 1951 to Joe Bledsoe
Jackson b. 22 Oct. 1925 Coweta Co., Ga. Both are
affiliated with the Baptist Church. Joe is the son
of Oliver Austin Jackson and Clara Bledsoe. He
worked in Police and Security work. Myrtle is a
retired registered Nurse.

{13} Buford David Whitlock b. 27 Oct. 1931, Roscoe Road
Coweta Co., Ga. He is affiliated with the Baptist Church.
Buford retired as an agent of the Gulf Life Insrance Corp.
He is an employee of the Hill Crest Funeral Home in
Newnan, Ga.
{14} Winnie Adell Whitlock b. 2 Feb. 1934 Roscoe
Road Coweta Co., Ga. Marr. 25 Dec. 1955 to Carl
Gilbert Miller, b. 2 Apr. 1928. Both are affiliated
with the Baptist Church. Carl is the son of Ora Stinson
Miller and Martha Ethel Gilbert. Carl retired from the
Newnan Water and Light Co. Winnie (Called Adell) retried
registered Nurse. Carl was a PFC in the US Army during the
Korean War station at Camp Polk, LA.
