Juanda National Park
The park used to be called dago Pakar, located 8 km North of Bandung’s down town. It is accessed by public transportation from Cicaheum, Kebon Kalapa and Leuwipanjang bus stations, and also from Bandung railway station. From dago terminal you can walk along 2 km to the location or if you bring your car, you can get it through.
Total area of the park is 590 ha Located on Cikapundung riverbanks, it lies on 770-1.330 m above sea level. The topography of its sphere is aslant pretty steep, and very steep. Temperatur in the valley is 220 C – 240C with average annual rainfall of 2.226 mm.
It comprises 2.500 trees which belong to 40 families and 108 species, among others are : Cemara Sumatra (Casuarina Sumatra), jati (Tektona Grandis), Mahoni Uganda (Khya Anthotheea), Pines (Pinus Inssularis), and kaliandra (Calliandra Partoricensis).
