11-3-2004 You gotta be kidding

I just love the latest John F Kerry ad stating that Bush is ignoring Homeland Security. The ad talks as if Homeland Security had been around for years and I would bet you donut that if you asked many on the left, they would say that it was something started by Clinton-I'll try this myself and let you know the results. How exactly would Bush be ignoring something he created and turned over to the very capable hands of Tom Ridge? Exactly how, Mr. Kerry, is he ignoring it? You are stating it, but once again, not providing any details, much like all your other plans, "I have a plan. I won't tell you how I'll do it, but I'll do it."

Then today I actually hear him complaining about Bush's "big government." You have got to be kidding me. A Massachusetts "Tax and Spend" liberal, and not just any liberal, THE most liberal member of the Senate...beyond even Teddy *hic* and Shrillery. I can't believe he even said this, but of course I can't believe most of what he has said. His own plans, at least the ones he has shared with the public, call for huge big government education and health care programs. Someone please tell me how adding a layer of government above the insurance and HMO companies will make our health care less expensive? I've talked at length about education, and to be fair, I will say that the bastardized version of No Child Left Behind authored by Teddy *hic* and minions, leaves lots of children behind, but the fact is that throwing money at the problem will do NOTHING. It never has. This is a problem that can't be fixed by money. I have many friends that are teachers and they are just as disgusted by their forced curriculums, testing, and the fact that the education money never gets down to them where it is needed in the trenches. My one friend has to carry around her own paper and crayons to give to her students-out of her own money. But it seems there is plenty of money available for condoms.

How about this JFKerry quote, "The world is watching." It just figures. The guy that wants us to pass the global test is concerned that the world is watching, while his own minions at MoveOn and the AFL/CIO are trying to block folks from voting and if you are on the right, from actually watching at the voting machines. Ooooo, bad America, bad...the world is watching. This from a guy whose cronies are stuffing ballot boxes. There are now more stories than I can repeat about folks on the right not being allowed to vote-"Sorry, your name isn't on the list. I don't care if you have voted here for the past ten years, your not on the list." This is going on in Ohio, Pa, SC, Florida, Michigan, and on and on, and don't forget about the slashed tires of vehicles to be used to help folks get to the voting booths-but that's okay, they were only Republicans.

You say there is no bias in the media? How about this story? Every day, EVERY day, I read stories just like this. Most are from the AP, which still hasn't gotten over the Gore loss. Sad.

***SOHAG, Egypt (AP) - A man angry with fathering no sons stabbed four of his seven daughters to death as they slept and seriously wounded the other three, police said Monday.

Abdel Nasser Ibrahim, 47, a muezzin, or mosque prayer caller, in the Sohag provincial town of Tima, 345 kilometres south of Cairo, repeatedly stabbed his seven sleeping daughters with two knives in a rampage that lasted several minutes, a police official said on condition of anonymity.

Killed were Samar, 15; Isra, 10; Fatima, 8; and Zeinab, 7. The screams of the three wounded daughters alerted neighbours to the pre-dawn crime and they later contacted police.

Ibrahim's wife of 18 years left the house before the killings to go and stay with her parents following an argument she had with her husband over failing to give birth to a son, the official told The Associated Press.

Police arrested Ibrahim who later claimed to have stabbed his daughters during a moment of temporary insanity because he feared they would one day become promiscuous. Police also quoted neighbours as saying Ibrahim had not allowed his girls to attend school.

Ibrahim burst into tears during his interrogation before being transferred to the prosecutor's office for further questioning, the official said.

Southern Egypt is the most conservative part of Egypt, where education for girls has only recently been improving because of a government campaign.***

How about that last line folks? Had to get the word conservative in there, even though there is NO conservative movement in Egypt.

Let's look at JFKerry's favorite group of people, people better than citizens of the US, especially the folks on the right-the UN. Kerry has stated that dying under the UN banner is honorable, while dying under our own flag is not.

Lets look at the UN voting records from US State Department:

Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time.
Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time.
Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time.
United Arab Emirates votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.
Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.
Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.
Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.
Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.
Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.
Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.
Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.
India votes against the United States 81% of the time.
Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.
Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.

US Foreign Aid to those that hate us:
Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid. Jordan votes 71% against the United States and receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid. Pakistan votes 75% against the United States receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid. India votes 81% against the United States receives $143,699,000 annually. Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers who are having to skimp and sacrifice to pay the taxes.

These are the folks that Kerry wants to put in charge of our future. Strange.

Anyway, how about them Steelers? How about them Gi'nts? Talk about some spankings. Man would I love to see the Steelers beat the Eagles. Now don't get me wrong, I also like the Eagles, but I have been a Steelers fan since I was little. How about the REDSOX?? Had to get that last one in there.

Keep the faith. Pray for Bush and our country.

Headlines...

The Voice Headline was a scream, "Bush Leads, but…" But what? He has soundly kicked major ass and the Ohio Secretary of State had said Bush's lead was insurmountable, even statistically speaking. Way to go Ebon and Sue. How about them exit polls? The media was just trying as hard as they can…"Get out there and ask some Democrats how they voted!" "Kerry is up by 20 in Pa-yeehaw!" It was so pleasing to see the media get the Kerry camp up so high that Terry McAuliffe and Teddy * hic* Kennedy said Kerry won at 5:30 and 7:30 respectively (east coast time), only to see it all come crashing down.

My two favorite lines of the day:
First: A big victory for California over Bush in Stem Cell Research. Funny that Bush is the only President to SUPPORT stem cell research, he just wants the cells to come from umbilical cords, a much better source of such cells, rather than killing babies. Duh.

Second: The AP story that stated that even though the Republicans won more House and Senate seats, the majority is still slim so “Democrats will be able to slow or even derail some Republican initiatives.” Derail? The left just DON’T get it. They are the most obnoxious bastards ever. It isn't about the left and the right, it is about the country as a whole and the left will never see America that way. They will never do what is good for the country if it is an initiative created by the right. The Republicans could sign legislation that grants everyone in the US a $50,000/year job, free health care for life, and a Hummer in the garage and the left will vote it down.

Here's some more...

***Kerry Supporter Compares Conservatives to Hitler

Boston (CNSNews.com) - A supporter of Democratic nominee John Kerry compared conservatives to Adolf Hitler in a series of interviews with the media at the Democratic Election Night party in Boston's Copley Square. Joe Pulliam of Bedford Mass., said "Thomas Jefferson - liberal, Abraham Lincoln - liberal, Jesus - liberal, Adolf Hitler - conservative. Hey where do you stand?" Pulliam told CNSNews.com.

"All of these people are making liberal sound like a dirty word. It's not. It's the thing that built this country. All of these conservatives that want to grab freedom and democracy -- it's not theirs, it's ours. It's liberalism that made this country," Pulliam added.

Pulliam, who carried a sign stating, "Al Franken fans for Kerry," went on to decry what he called the "incompetence" of the Bush administration.***

Jefferson-big time conservative-valued Christian.
Lincoln-the same.
Jesus-uh, huh.
Adolf Hitler was a fascist.

This country was founded on conservative Christian values…including our education system.
But hey, we all can't be Al Franken fans...

***Kerry Campaign Party Turns to Tears and Bitterness

Boston (CNSNews.com) - As President George Bush edged closer to the 270 electoral votes necessary to secure re-election, supporters of Democratic nominee John Kerry openly wept and consoled each other at the Election Night celebration in Boston's Copley Square.

Some Kerry supporters called Bush's platform "all lies" and heckled a group of College Republicans who were passing through the crowd.

A distraught woman confronted Democratic U.S. Rep. Harold Ford in the lobby of the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel and screamed, "Can you tell me why everybody made a mistake?" Ford responded, "Let me talk to the candidate before I make a comment. It's been a long day."***

Yep, damn them college kids…wait, how in the world could there be Republicans in college? Oh, I just feel so bad for them…boo hoo. How sad. I know Bush is a liar.

***Anyone But Bush' Factor Explains Kerry's Competitiveness

(CNSNews.com) - Exit polls indicated that 74 percent of Kerry supporters said they voted for the senator primarily because they couldn't stand Bush.***

Imagine that.

***Unhappy Democrats Need to Wait to Get into Canada

OTTAWA (Reuters) - Disgruntled Democrats seeking a safe Canadian haven after President Bush won Tuesday's election should not pack their bags just yet.

Canadian officials made clear on Wednesday that any U.S. citizens so fed up with Bush that they want to make a fresh start up north would have to stand in line like any other would-be immigrants -- a wait that can take up to a year.

"You just can't come into Canada and say 'I'm going to stay here'. In other words, there has to be an application. There has to be a reason why the person is coming to Canada," said immigration ministry spokeswoman Maria Iadinardi.

There are anywhere from 600,000 to a million Americans living in Canada, a country that leans more to the left than the United States and has traditionally favored the Democrats over the Republicans.

But recent statistics show a gradual decline in U.S. citizens coming to work in Canada, which has a creaking publicly funded healthcare system and relatively high levels of personal taxation.***

Bummer! How could Canada do this? Hey, we’ll give you Streisand, Moore, Penn, Springsteen, Sarandon, Flint, Sorros, and Garofalo in exchange for a few good hockey players.

Concessions and bloopers…

Then comes the concession speech. Probably THE single biggest set of lies Kerry has told and also his two biggest flip-flops.

Kerry tells his supporters “What you did will make a difference.” And “We will build on it.” Build on what? Bush bashing? It certainly wasn’t policy issues. Just what came out of the left? Kerry told us he has a plan. Great! What’s the plan? A health care policy that failed big time in the past? A scare policy of saying Republicans are cutting education spending when it was Teddy *hic* Kennedy and his minions that wrote the education bill, and then later complained about the huge spending deficit they helped create? How about the scare policy leveled against the elderly that the Republicans are going to steal your social security? The scare policy that the Republicans are not going to let you vote if you are an African-American? These same tried and true policies have been used by the left for forty years. What exactly is there to build on Senator Kerry?

And then came this huge blooper, or at least it had to be a blooper that someone threw in on the teleprompter, “Now, we must stand together to win the war in Iraq.” There was some applause in the audience, but I think this may have confused many of those in attendance. I mean we had 12 month of bashing Bush on the “Wrong war, wrong time,” the “War for oil,” the “He played on our fears!” screams, the “Lie after lie after lie” speech, the “there was no threat of terrorism” rhetoric. But now we must stand together? To face what? A “Nuisance.” A “police matter.” He has got to be f$%#ing kidding us. I imagine that Michael Moore vomited when he heard this-kind of like, “What are you saying you fool! I just made a movie about this! You’re costing me money.”

He wants unity? Kerry and his cronies have done more to divide this country than anyone, including the Clintons. Remember, “Bush lied,” “Bush is a Nazi,” “Bush is a terrorist,” “We’ll support our troops when the kill their leaders,” “Bush is cutting education, stealing social security, hiding voting machines from minorities,” and on and on and on. And NOW he is asking for unity?

America Bless God. I will sleep good tonight, say and extra prayer, and hug my kids close. I hope that somehow this country will come together, but I would not bet on it. The media will not allow it, nor will the DNC, nor will Dan rather, nor will the UN. On Sept. 12 we came together as one, but one year later we were more divided than at any time I can ever remember. I pray to God that it won’t be another Sept. 11 that brings us together. Our terms, their turf, rather than their terms, our turf. At one time Kerry had stated that Iraq has now become a breeding ground for terrorists and that they were flocking to Iraq. Thank you John. I’m glad you finally got it. That is exactly what we wanted to happen. Let them go there. Line them up and we’ll knock them down.

Keep the Faith.
