Confusion

Mark,

Well vacation was wonderful.  Nice to get a rest even though I did a bit of work while up at Lake Ontario.  The weather was okay most days, and we got to the beach and pool often.  Here's something cool.  My oldest daughter read about homemade fishing poles in a story she was reading and made one.  She got a short stick, some string and a bent paperclip and started hauling in the fish.

Both my daughters are good swimmers and the little guy is getting there.  We ended up at the Oswego County Fair.  I hadn't been there in years and I don't think I will ever go back.  I didn't mind paying the $5 entrance fee, that is until I got to the ride ticket booth.  It was $1.25 per ticket and most of the rides bigger than a kiddie ride were two tickets!  It was $5 to $10 bucks a ride for a ride like the tilt-a-whirl!! Crazy.  We ended up going on a ride then walking around to the display areas or to a show, then we would go on another ride.  Outrageous!  They should have at least had a pay one price deal for the kiddie rides, but nope $2.50 for my son and niece to go on the airplanes.  Thank goodness there's a place like Knoebels nearby.

I would have to say that all the economic news is really picking up, and we are seeing it big time where I work.  We will be over capacity starting this fall until the end of 06.  It's funny how our union put signs up saying how Bush was going to cut overtime, when in fact we have been working more and then he goes and approves more overtime for the Federal unions-that dirty, rotten so and so, how dare he do the opposite of what the left says.  We will be hiring again I believe.

Kerry/Edwards-two dips.  Throw in Kennedy-two dips and a * hic * dope.  Two guys that attacked each other as if it was their last gasp and now they are huggy-huggy, how cute.  Funny that the polls didn't really change after all the hubbub.

        Here's one for you:

Same facts, but the opposite conclusions. Here's a set of thoughts comparing the overseas messes of the past decade or so and placing them in a somewhat clearer, but still confusing, light.  I'm trying to get all this political stuff straightened out in my head so I'll know how to vote come November. Right now, we have one guy saying one thing. Then the other guy says something else. Who to believe?  Lemme see, have I got this straight?
