With two years under our belt, the DVFL, is still going strong. I have been the commish for since the beginnings and it is likely to stay that way till I get sick of it. Since I accually enjoy that kind of pain and punishment, its gonna be a while. The premise of the league is simplicty. With input from Dave Clingman, I designed a scoring engine that a person can score themselves in only a minute or two. DVFL Scoring Touchdown 6 points Rushing - 1 point per 60 yds Passing - 1 point per 100 yds Recieving - 1 point per 60 yds 2 Point Conversion - 2 points Field Goal - 3 Points Point After - 1 Point Sacks - 1 Point Safety - 2 Points Interception/Fumble Recovery - 1 point Yards Allowed - Variable 14 points for Tot Pass/Rush/Rec Yds All between 1 and 120 yards 10 points for Tot Pass/Rush/Rec Yds All between 121 and 180 yards 7 points for Tot Pass/Rush/Rec Yds All between 181and 240 yards 3 points for Tot Pass/Rush/Rec Yds All between 241 and 300 yards 2 points for Tot Pass/Rush/Rec Yds All between 301 and 360 yards The average score in a game is usually between 30 and 50 points. However nobody has gotten over 100 and scores have been as-low-as 10. Also we have never had an undefeated team, nor have we had a team loose all of its games....yet!

1998 Draft
Yes I have decided to stick with Terry Bradshaw Fantasy Football. They have made some good improvements this year, again, and I see no reason to switch. Plus the football software and stats includes all of their software and stats for the next seasons of hockey, baseball and basketball. So there is a likely hood 2/3 of those will become leagues.
The draft will be at the home of the Rocky Mountain Oysters (My dad), John.
Where: Same place as the past 2 years
When: 7PM, August 29, 1998
