ALL ABOUT ME!

Yeah this page is all about my life, interests and the people I am lucky enough to be around. So read on and see what I am all about.

Here we go...In 80,000 Words Or Less

Its really tough to put down into a web page a person's history with out sounding too self centered. But hey it is my web page...and you are here.

I grew up in a log cabin in Illinois...ooops I stole that from the Abe Lincoln web site. I really should learn to better code HTML...

Seriously though I grew up in Littleton Colorado. Your too smart for his own good sorta kid. I went to Columbine High School and while I came away with quite a few friends found it to be a crappy experience. Imagine a smart, underachieving, really skinny, smart assed teenager in a school full of jocular types. You get the idea.

Then I went to Metro State and finally learned something! Metro was fun, but not exactly a party school. After 5 years I finally got around to graduating with a bachelor's degree in history and journalism. I have much of this to thank to Tom Altherr. He was truely the best professor I had.

During all this time, I was really into the local BBS scene. From Middle Earth to The T-Zone to The Hollows to Mom's. A few of us old timers from back then...but the internet sorta sealed the fate of BBS's. Then I got onto Nyx as interest in BBS's were declining. Well before the internet became cool.

After college I quickly tried to start having a set of real jobs. I started out as a technical writer...then my contract ran out. Then I worked for Spencer Gifts (hell, with loud toys). Then a buddy of mine told me about a position open in his office, JLV Enterprises. So I got the job...there is where my career started. But if my career were truely interesting you would probably just want to look at my resume.

So where was I? Oh yeah, my life.

I moved in with my friend's Sara and Janet after my technical writing job got started, and have not been home since. Then I got a crappy apartment in Englewood. After that fiasco I moved in with my buddy Dave, and life has been better ever since.

Right now I share my life with Lee Wah. She is truely a wonderful woman and I feel lucky to be with her everyday. Even when she is giving me a hard time. HIAKS!

I am also really lucky to have a great family. Carol and Marty: mother and step-father, plus John and Karen: father and step mother are all great parents who support their kids. I have a sister, Stacy. She is everything I am not, but yet we get along great as adults. I also have two step-brothers, Kevin and Tim. I wish I were closer to them but my father got married well into all of us being adults, so I have much work to do in getting to know my step borthers. I also have a niece, Payton and a nephew, Rope.

Yes, Rope. My step brother is a large fella and I am unsure wether he sees the humor in that name. Maybe...and then joke is on us. Either way I do not feel like testing that theory....

Between Lee, my family and my friends I am a lucky (if not busy) guy. Steve T, Steve C (evil Steve), Sara, Karen, Dave, Larry, Brandon, Ron, Michael. And numerous others who deserve more mentioning than just a web page.

I have a couple of cats, Sharona and Ishtar. One is named after a cool song and the other after a lousy movie. I'll let you guess which. Sharona is big, white and kinda of lovingly aloof. Ishtar loves everything, save Sharona. I also have an Iguana named Skooby, but he does not have much of a personality!

So where can you find me? I am busy and all over the place, but I can narrow it down. I enjoy book stores (new and used). Lo-Do, Coors Field, Colpar Hobbies, and movie theaters (bigger, better, louder), and of course my girlfriend's house!

Okay go Back to my index page I have tortured you enough.
