爱大华堂第二届宣教月线上手册 ATCMC 2000 MISSION MONTH HANDBOOK ON LINE

爱大华堂主理牧师翁财和
爱大华堂与我同工的全体执事，各肢体负责人与全体
会众，我为你们向主献上感谢，因为大家明白主所交
付与我们的大使命(太28：18－20)并且愿意在此学习
顺服。
我亲爱的弟兄姐妹们，让我们迈步向前，主已经给了
我们恩典，去年第一届的宣教月是主给我们一个好的
开始，让我们靠着主大能的扶持，奋勇向前，去年认
献的，我劝勉大家再继续，同时加添数目 (因主的恩
典是有增无减)；还没有参与的， 今年宣教认献是我
们学习尊崇主的机会， 让我们一起来满足主的心意。
去年的宣教月乃是根基，其主要目的是带来宣教的醒
觉。作为跟进，第一届宣教月之後，所有本堂属下的
青少年团契每月有一次的宣教士传记分享。此外，主
日崇拜中(华语崇拜)也安排了宣教书刊阅读分享。
今年的宣教月与去年不同的是：涵括了本地宣教与布
道的行动(请参考本届宣教月手册中的节目表)。福音
的传扬是从耶路撒冷开始然後直到地极(徒1：8)，就
是从本地开始并扩展直到远方的地极。但愿主恩待我
们，让我们不止於白白的领受，而是有福音的实际行
动。 今年的宣教月手册的内容正反映了它的主题：
[迈步向前]，因此，它是互动的，好好回应吧！

The ATCMC and all my co-workers, the Stewards,
all office of the different sub-committees and
all the church members,I thank God for of you.
We all understand the Great Commission the
Lord had entrusted on us (Mathew 28:18-20)
and on this, we are all willing to learn to
be obedient.
My dear brothers and sisters, let us with the
grace the Lord has given us, move on wards. In
the first Mission Month last year, Lord has
placed us on a good start. With Gods' support
let us boldy move onwards. All those who
pledged last year, entreat you to continue
with your commitment. While also increasing on
the amount. (Because God's grace is ever
increasing never decreasing) For those yet to
pledge let this year's pledge for mission be
an opportunity to learn to honour God and to
satisfy His will.
The Mission Month last year is but a pedestal,
the important aim is to give rise to an
awareness in the need of mission. As a follow
-up, after the first Mission Month, the MYF of
ATCMC will have sharings on the works andlives
of missionaries once a month. Besides these,on
Sunday Service (Mandarin Service) sharings on
the books on mission are also arranged.
The Mission Month this year is different that
of last year, which includes mission and
evangelism locally. (ref: programe sheets in
the booklets for this Mission Month). The
spread of the Gospel started in Jeruselem
up to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)May the
Lord have compassion on us, that we not just
receive God's grace for granted, but actually
put into action in speading the Gospel. The
Mission Month this year has 'Marching Forward'
has the main theme to depict its comtents.
There while it is interrelated, we must give a
good response.

爱大华堂会友领袖黄招善执事
感谢天父上帝的恩典与引领，使去年第一屈的〖宣教
月〗能够顺利的举行并圆满的结束。本堂全体的弟兄
姐妹都能更深一层地了解宣教事工的意义与使命，以
致能为此事工代祷；同时作出积极的回应并凭着各自
的信心为宣教认献，共达致RM25,000之多，真是空前
的创举。我们将一切荣耀归於主。另一方面，宣教与
布道委员会在执事会的协助之下，谨慎地处理和妥善
的分配上述之款项。愿主亲自施恩祝福所有忠心事奉
的弟兄姐妹。
今年，在翁财和牧师的督促与鼓励之下，本委员会主
席倪凤娟姐妹的策划以及委员们的配搭，爱大华堂第
二屈的〖宣教月〗於本月份(2000年9月)正式开始。
我们要更加的感谢天父上帝恩典。各位亲爱的主内弟
兄姐妹，让我们继续支持这宣教的事工，更具体并尽
心尽力地参与代祷和认献，使本屈的宣教款能超越前
屈的数目，让更多的人得着主的祝福与救恩，感谢主
。啊们。

Thank Heavenly Father for His grace and
guidance, in the mission month last year.
Which was smoothly and satisfactorily
Conduded. Our brothers and sisiters are all
able to better understand the meaning of
mission and the Lord's commission, and to
intercede on this work, while also in faith
responded with generous pledges.Consequently,
an unprecedented sum of RM25000 was collected
. We ascribe all glory to the Lord. On the
other hand, the mission and evangelism.
Committee, with the blessing of the LCEC
handled this mission fund aptly and carefully
. May the Lord bless all brothers and sisters
who faithfully serve Him.
This year, with Rev Woong Chai Hoe's guidance
and encouragement, and with co-ordination and
planning of Sis Ngeh Hong Cheong, Chairman of
mission and Evangelism Committee ATCMC will
embark on the Second Mission month, starting
this month (i.e Sept 2000). We want to give
added Thanks to our Heavenly Father for His
abundance grace. Dear brothers and sisters in
christ, let's continue to support this
workin mission and in one accord be a part,
whole heartedly, in prayer and offering, so
that this mission month will supersede the
last. May more souls be touched by Gods'
blessing and the Lords' saving grace. Thank
be unto God. Amen.

Greeting in Jesus most previous name.
A year has passed by so quickly. We begun last
by focusing our objective on Mission Awareness
. As the church endeavour to chart its course
towards making CMCAT a mission orientated
church, it is imperative that we not only know
the what and how of mission. In addition, we
need to add a personal touch to it. Given the
limitations and short comings, in our
seemingly hardened perception of what mission
is, We must learn to trust and know that God's
grace is sufficient for us. Furthermore, we
need to renew our mind and invest our time,
energy and money in mission that matters for
eternity.
Let us herefore adopt an open mind to the
leading of the Holy Spirit so that our
perspective of mission will continue to be
widen, Our participation in keys to mission
in the world the he has made will continue
to bring tremendous changes not only in our
lives and the crowd in general. Only by so
doing, can our existent as a mission
orientated church be made justifiable.
Henceforth, let us look forward and expect
the hands of God to begin a mighty work
mission closer to home.
May the peace of God be with us all.

爱大华堂宣教与布道委员会主席倪凤娟
在1999年8月份，我们推展了第一个宣教月，宗旨是要
提高会友对宣教的醒觉。我们邀请了牧师们， 宣教士
及宣教机构来到我们当中分享有关宣教的事工。在8月
杪，我们挑战会友们为2000年宣教事工(1)基金来认捐
会友的反应远超出我所预料之外，他们共认捐了 RM23
,700.00。身为宣教与布道委员会主席的我马上请求上
帝赦免小信的我。
时至今日足足一年了，我们要感谢上帝的信实。 宣教
基金目前共有RM18,393.00。 我深信这些款项在年尾
时将超出原本的数目。且让我们来期待上帝施行奇事！

(B) 已进行的事工
由于刚开始， 我们的目标只局限在本地的事工。靠着
神的恩典， 我们切望将来能把宣教事工广展到外地，
甚至海外。
我们做的是撒种的工作且看到了一些突破。 让我们继
续栽培这些孩子们， 让他们在主里成长， 结实百倍。
重要事项： 请大家为着能在甘光马坡购地建布道所之
事来代祷，好使当地居民有个适当的场所来进行聚会。
(3)资助L.K.C.的宣教事工
她是本堂的一位姐妹，毕业于博大。她曾回应上帝的
呼召到东亚去宣教，她作的是大专生福音事工。她将
再次前往有关地区为主工作。她将在10月初启程。让
我们在祷告中支持她的事工。
亲爱的弟兄姐妹们，献出你们的时间与金钱，积极参
与宣教事工， 亲身体会上帝的信实并他将行的大事。
对那些已经投入宣教事工的弟兄姐妹，我们可说是经
历了许多令人兴奋的经验。
来吧！弟兄姐妹们！来加入我们的行列并与我们一齐
去发现上帝要藉着你成就的大事！

***MISSION 1 - YEAR 1999/2000***
Report By Mission And Evangelism Committee
Chairman Ngeh Hong Cheong
In August, 1999, we embarked on our First
Mission Month. It was to instill mission
awareness among members. We had pastors,
missionaries and mission organisation in our
midst to share with us on mission. At the end
of our Mission 1 Fund (Year 2000 ) .
It was beyond my expectation as chairperson
of the M & E committee when the total pledges
amounted to RM23,730.00. My immediate respond
was, 'God, forgive my little faith'.
Today, exactly a year, we want to thank God
for His faithfulness. The fund now stands at
18,393.00. I strongly believe that the amount
will exceed the original figure before the
year ends. Expect great things from God.
Now a brief report of where the fund goes
and some of what we have done.
A) Fund Allocation

B) What we have done
For a start we wanted to begin with our very own
'Jerusalem'. By God's Grace we hope to stretch
our tent to region beyond' in the years to come.
1) SRK(C) Ayer Tawar
i) On 3/3/2000 - we started the student
fellowship of SRK (C) Ayer Tawar. At
the inaugural service, there were over 160
students. Regular meetings are held twice per
month on Friday evening at 4.30p.m. The
attendance have been quite constant averaging
150 each session.
ii) On 5/9/2000-an outdoor retreat to Taiping
Lake Garden and Zoo (Limited to 50 students).
We thank God that the headmaster has
indicated his willingness to join the group.
2) KAMPUNG MERBAU MINISTRY
i) 01/3/2000 to 05/03/2000 - a team of 20
student from USM and their mentors were in
the village.
Programme: a) community service
- beautification programme
b) door to door survey interview
and evangelism
c) study seminar with students
d) evangelistic night
Outcome: 14 accepted the Lord
24 indicated willingness to know more
2 rejected
Fellow-up: (a) :10/06/2000 - 25 people
attendeda 'get to know you' outdoor gathering
at Teluk Batik with Rev.Woong as the speaker.
Follow-up (b) : 18/08/2000 to 20/08/2000 - 38
students (Including those from main church )
attended a study camp for SPM students.
Follow-up (c) : 30/09/2000 (joint fellowship
with ATMYF) visit to House of Victory (Drug
Rehabilitation Centre).
2) Retreat for primary school children
(a)04/0902000 - Day Retreat at SRJK(C)Kpg
Merbau
4/9/2000 - 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
Theme: "Honour Your Parents"
(b)05/09/2000 - Ourdoor retreat to Taiping
Lake Garden & Zoo(limited to 50 students)
. We thank God that the parents of these
students consented to let us take their
children for the retreat.
The seeds have been sown. We havee seen a break
-through. Let us nurture these children that
they may grow to full bloom.
URGENT: PLEASE PRAY WITH US THAT JEHOVAH JIREH
WILL PROVIDE US A PIECE OF LAND IN KPG. MERBAU
THAT HIS PEOPLE MAY BE ABLE TO HAVE A PROPER
PLACE FOR REGULAR MEETINGS.
3)Sister L.K.C.
A sister from among us. She recently graduated
from UPM, Serdang. She answered the call of
God to go on a mission trip to an East Asian
country. She will be with STINT (Short Term
International) to this East Asian country for
12-15 months, living with them and bringing
the gospel to them. She will be leaving this
October. Let us uphold her with our prayers.
Brothers & sisters, avail yourself, give of
your time and money and experience for youeself
what the Lord can do and His faithfulness.
