This Page Was Made to Help All WebTV users Learn How To Transload and Use Other Resources and Important Little Helpful hints that All should know.
Having your Own homePage is A Very important resource To all. You Can Use it To make a page to show people and help people or to MOST IMPORTANTLY, TRANSLOAD to. I explain how to transload and where to further down the page. But First Some Places To Get HomePages:
1. Angelfire: Angelfire Is Where you can get very simple and easy to make pages, I'd tell a beginner to start here. The One Major Fault with Angelfire is that their confusing to use with the transloader.
2. Geocities: Geocities Are A little bit more difficult to work with but they have VERY LONG URLS, which is not good, their good if your lookiing to keep your page secret. They Are easy to transload to, but I believe Are Not the best.
3. Tripod: Tripod Is My Favorite Place For HomePages, Their A Perfect Ten. Their Easy to transload to, have short URLs, and are not to confusing but may be to a newbie.
You also May want A different Kind Of Email Other Then Your WebTV Email, I dont need it nor want it because I need to answer my Email ASAP, but some of you aren't as Important as me...LOL...Just Kidding, so You May Want some Of the following:
Transloading is not that difficult, bt people make it out to be difficult. Follow the steps below to be a transloading wizard!
Bouncing is A way to look at someone elses Email Html, Its very simple and very helpful, Heres HowTo Do It:
In order to look at their Email you must have an Email from them or one of their posts. Fisrt you must forward the message to Me@bnl.gov, Its an invalid address, but the message comes back, so click on it, and scroll down a little and click Show Details. Go down the message a bit and theres their Email HTML!
I have no clue what this is called but this is how to do it aand what it does:
When Something is highlighted with the little webtv highlight box, hold down The cmd and ctrl buttons, on the status bar it'll show where it'll take you! I use this ALL the time, very helpful, I gues its called the cmd ctrl trick or something.
Validating is Looking at someone elses HTML in their HomePage, This is done very simple. Just Goto a Validator such as http://watson.addy.com Then just type in the URL of the page that has the html you wanna see.
DejaNews is one of my most favorite sites. Many don't know about it, they may of heard about it but have no clue what it does. Well, if you go there, and search with someones Email Address it'll show you some of their postiigns, not all postings but some. Its Great for finding out where people post, especially if they have a secret News Group that you want to see!

HotMail
First Goto the site you would like to Transload/Copy.
Second Hit the goto button and type in the url of the trasnloader, which is
http://transload.starblvd.net
then On ther first Form to fill Out Click the rain drop looking thing, or fill in the URL you wanna copy in the 2nd space, labeled Source URL.
Then fill in What you would like to name it, like page.html or pic.gif, if its a banner or gif.
After That Fill in the url of your site, like if its https://members.tripod.com/~webtv, just type webtv.
After That Place in Your Password, then goto the bottom and click transloadand your pretty much done
You Must Watch The Status Report and Keep Reloading to make sure it worked!
