Most recent shocking details of my extremely exciting life:

Remember how I wrote here that I would like to go to Iceland? Well... it worked!! I was on Gauksmýri Horse Center from Sep 22 to Dec 8, 2003 and then again from Feb 27 to July 2, 2004. And the "worst" thing of them all...

I got myself a horse! It was virtually love at first sight, and we just happened to have this special connection... I had to buy him, even though my initial plan was to only get a horse when I had a job and an apartment of my own... I know it sounds crazy, it's hard to understand if one hasn't experienced this oneself. It's one of those "once in a lifetime" opportunities. His name is Bjarmi, he's still in Iceland but as soon as I have the money I'll get him here. I also got some photos of him online (but all the captions are in German).

So currently I'm looking for a job - the first "real" job in my life. I've abandoned those study-translator-kinda plans, I'm sick of studying, I finally want to earn money. But because of my lack of experience it's freaking difficult to find something. Everyone wants experienced people and I just can't seem to get in anywhere. How am I supposed to get experience, then??? A traineeship might be a solution, but it's also hard to find such a placement. I'm thinking of trying to find something in Iceland - the German job market is just as devastated as the German economy, I'm really starting to get sick of this country.
