The show opened up with a D-Generation X interview. Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac called out The New Age Outlaws, concerning their affiliation with Vince McMahon. The Outlaws, dressed in suits, came out with Shawn Michaels, and announced that they had become corporate. Helmsley and Michaels exchanged words and Michaels announced that Helmsley and X-Pac would wrestle The Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock in a No-Holds Barred Tag Team Match later in the show.

The No Holds Barred Tag Team Match involving Hunter Hearst Helmsley and X-Pac vs. The Big Bossman and Ken Shamrock ended with The New Age Outlaws, who had come to ringside with Shawn Michaels, attacking Bossman and Shamrock. The entire angle with The Outlaws becoming corporate was a hoax, as they turned back to D-Generation X. It was very well done too. Shawn Michaels played a good heel role throughout this entire segment.
