X-Pac vs. Edge and Christian
This feud started three weeks before Backlash 2000. Edge and Christian were walking to the lockerroom after
a successful title defense when Road Dogg started talking trash. Road Dogg and X-Pac beat down the tag champs
and a match was made for Backlash. The next week, Road Dogg defeated Christian and X-Pac defeated Edge in one-on-one
competition. At Backlash, Edge and Christian got their revenge by defeating X-Pac and Road Dogg by knocking X-Pac out with
a ring bell. X-Pac was sent to the hospital for stitches. This one is far from over.
