X-Pac vs. Kane

When DX reformed in October of 1999, X-Pac made a choice between his former tag team partner and his old friends. X-Pac betrayed Kane in a match against the Dudley Boyz. While Kane was kicking ass, X-Pac low blowed Kane allowing Buh-Buh Ray to make the cover.

The next week on Raw, X-Pac was ordered to a match with Kane in which Kane won by DQ. Kane had X-Pac in a chokeslam when DX ran in and made the save. The next chapter started after the break up when it was revealed Kane and Tori were an item. X-Pac told Tori about Kane's burnt parts and it angered Kane. X-Pac interfered in many of Kane's matches. At Survivor Series, X-Pac fought Kane again and again, DX interefered allowing Kane to pick up a win. The next major match-up was at Armageddon in a steel cage match that saw Kane coming out on top.

The feud really picked up during the holiday break and no one knew it. X-Pac won the holidays with Tori after the Outlaws beat Kane. For the longest time, no one knew what happened, but on Smackdown!, X-Pac reavaled to the world what happened. Tori actually had fun with X-Pac and Tori left Kane for him. Kane disappeared for two weeks before he came back more pissed off than ever with Paul Bearer. This all culminated at Royal Rumble 2000 where X-Pac elimiated Kane in the Rumble match. They then fought the house show circuit for a few weeks and met again at No Way Out in an no holds barred match. This match was a result of Kane beating X-Pac and HHH in a no holds barred handicap match a few weeks earlier on Raw. At No Way Out, X-Pac picked up the win by drop kicking the steps while Kane was hanging on to them and then using the steps to pin Kane.

The feud's not quite over as HHH won't let it die. Road Dogg and X-Pac tagged against Kane in the RAW and Smackdown following No Way Out and there is rumored to be an exploding landmine cage match at WM 2000

The exploding landmine cage match for WM has been cancelled because of technical problems. Instead, somehow a match between X-Pac and Road Dogg vs. Kane and Rikishi got set-up. Not quite sure how that happened. The match at Wrestlemania was a complete squash with Kane and Rikishi winning.

After Wrestlemania, we found out Kane has a broken hand and will be out 8 months thus putting the feud on hold (or hopefully ending it).

No, it's not over. Kane comes back and joins in the feud with the McMahon-Helmsley Regime. He joins the side of Rock and Undertaker and all three go after X-Pac and the rest of Corporation X.
