The Bite

X-Pac of D-Generation X may go into the record books as one of the most disrespectful and underhanded Superstars ever to compete in the World Wrestling Federation. There appears to be no end to the pranks and stunts he pulls on other Superstars just to get a laugh. World Wrestling Federation Magazine spoke with this sly and crafty Superstar to learn what he gets out of being perhaps the biggest D-Generate of all, despite his being the smallest of the group. In addition, World Wrestling Federation Magazine has discovered that all is not well in DX under the McMahon-Helmsley era. As the reader will soon learn, X-Pac, himself, implies that he has some behind-the-scene issues with his new boss, Stephanie - issues that are perhaps ready to boil to the surface.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: Who would you say is the perfect female D-Generate?
X-Pac: Courtney Love.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: How does Stephanie measure up to her?
X-Pac: I don't think there's any real comparision. They're nothing alike.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: What benefits are there for you being in DX?
X-Pac: I get to have fun and do what I want. That's the benefit I bring to DX, too, I think. I'm a free-spirited person. I do what the #@&% I want. If I'm in a group, that group's gonna do what it wants. We get to go out there and #@&% people off or make them happy. Either way, that's satisfying.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: Why did you turn your back on Kane after he put his trust in you? Were you ever genuine in that friendship?
X-Pac: I did it because the whole "little buddy" thing just got to be too much. It got to the point where everybody thought I was a little @#$% that Kane carried around because he liked me - like a little stuffed animal or something. In reality, I was the one who carried his big @$$. I carried him. I helped him grow mentally and emotionally. I was the glue of that team. He was just the draft horse hauling the cart.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: Do you ever have a "small-person" complex being around the big guys?
X-Pac: No. I'm just fine with the way I am. I'm extremely successful. I dare say there ain't too many people in the whole damn business that are as successful as I am. There's no Napoleon complex. I'm about six feet tall.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: What direction - "sizewise" - do you see wrestlers going? Will you and Jeff Hardy be the rule or Big Show and Rikishi Phatu?
X-Pac: It'll be whoever. It's not a matter of what size a person is. There's the term: "variety is the spice of life." Well, there's plenty of spice in the World Wrestling Federation right now. You've got short guys, tall guys, fat guys, skinny guys, muscular guys. You've got everything. Whoever shows some talent gets some air time.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: Who do you see as your next big challenge?
X-Pac: It's not a challenge, but I think I'd like to beat the crap out of Test. I'd like to do some more carving on that nose. Also, Chris Jericho; he's got the IC title right now.

World Wrestling Federation Magazine: If you could give anyone in the Federation at this time a "Bronco Buster," who would it be?
X-Pac: Stephanie McMahon [-Helmsley] for stirring up so much crap in DX.
