Who's Got the Juice

Stroke... Control... Power... Juice...

All four words are synonymous with DX and all mean the same thing - that DX can do and say what they want because they have it. Without a doubt, D-Generation X is the most powerful group in the wrestling industry today, as they have influence extending beyond the vast borders of the World Wrestling Federation.

Following WrestleMania XIV, DX's future was cloudy to say the least. Could they maintain their level of dominance with just Hunter and Chyna? The European Champion was taking no chances now that he was in control. When HHH introduced us to his "friend," the clouds of doubt lifted and power shifted back in their favor once again.

Like a cannon, the former 1-2-3 Kid - now called X-Pac - burst through the curtain to a raucous ovation. The true friends embraced in an impromptu yet honest show of emotion. Hunter seemed to be relieved that X-Pac left WCW and "came home," and so did the fans. They roared with approval as X-Pac lashed out at his former employers and their most prominent employee. The addition of the New Age Outlaws later that same evening put a huge exclamation point on the biggest night in the young history of DX.

The tide turned in the war between the two companies, as the Federation seized momentum that memorable night following WrestleMania, largely because of a rebel. A true degenerate named X-Pac, who has swirled amidst a firestorm of controversy for the last two years and lived to tell about it, returned to the company where he first made his name as a "Kid"... but now he is definitely a man.

The high profile free agent became available because of a power struggle. Returning to his first employer you'd hardly recognize him. His style is true DX. His in your face manner is about as subtle as a sledgehammer. When he competed here formerly, he was known as a high-risk aerial artist. He is still a suicide machine in the ring, never afraid to use his body as a launchable weapon.

X-Pac, as do all the members of DX, utilizes pop culture catch phrases like paints on a canvas. He blends street slang like a gangsta rapper with vulgar threats to opponents that leave the audience breathless. Some cheer, some boo, but all the fans can't help reacting. They evoke emotion by the bucketful. Surrounded by security to hold back adoring women and angry (jealous) men, DX enter arenas like rock stars. They are hot, hip, marketable, smart and dangerous... very dangerous.

The danger lies in their power and influence in the industry. X-Pac's return was no accident. This is just the latest move in HHH's carefully orchestrated plot to take over the wrestling industry. He, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws are just the beginning. The DX army will continue to grow. As reported in the "Informer: Confidental" column (RAW Magazine, June 1998), the list of Federation superstars who want in to DX is staggering. According to the Informer's source, HHH has held many impromptu meetings with some of the Federation's best. The source did not want his identity or those reportedly lobbying for a spot in DX revealed.

All the members of DX, especially X-Pac, have axes to grind with the World Wrestling Federation. Each member has been mistreated at one time or another while competing here. X-Pac hasn't forgotten any of the things that happened to him. Now that he has cleared a major hurdle in his life, he will savor his revenge with every lewd gesture, four-letter word and crotch chop he gives. Let's not forget that this man is one of the most exhilarating competitors in the sport. He made his former employer sorry when he went to Atlanta and he will do the same to his ex-employers now that he has returned.

If Federation officials are wise, they will heed this advice: Two Words - Look Out.
