On Saturday I bought a copy of the script of "Bitter Suite" and I had
hoped to have Steve sign it. Unfortunately, unlike I had heard on the
list, he didn't mingle with the crowd or anything, and the only
time I got to see him was when he was on stage. He brought out two
of the newer writers to the show, which seemed to embarrass them a lot.
He didn't stay long, and he stated from the beginning that he wouldn't
give away any plot devices or anything particularly interesting
like that ;) One rather interesting thing he did say, however, was that he often gets names for characters from just looking around his office or from something he had recently seen. An example was that after he saw the movie "Amistad" he named a character Ramistad (or something like that, I can't totally remember ;)).
