"Turquoise" By Path
The element of water...powerful yet serene. It can grind away the ancient mountains; can breathe life to desolate landscapes. With three merged molecules, it creates the basis of life. It exists in all three forms. Hides lost treasures and life forms. Does the great Kraken exist under its surface? Do Poseidon and the Hippocampus hide in the deep, awaiting a time for re-emergence? Will it end the world; fire or water? What will it become? Matter, antimatter; water and fire. Each cancels the other out, which will in the end prevail? Carries sound, unclouded, pure. Echoing back, again as before. No weight, cool and lifting as space. Feeds plants, nourishes the ground. Moves as it wishes, a rhapsody of waves. Pulled by the moon, in a great tug-o-war. Does it resist? Can it be, that unicorns once walked the ground? And returned to the sea, Life?s origin? Dolphins gave up the Earth, to return where it all began. The fish have learned to fly, and the fish will learn to cry?as we are destroying our ancient home, and their only chance to survive. Our water begins to die...slowly and permanently. We can escape to new worlds, but the deadly cycle will continue. As long as humans exist, peace will not be completely found. Tranquillity has lost its meaning, but hope has not. Why did Pandora release hope if we do not cling to it? If we do not nurture and use it? A waste, that we will eventually have to suffer and pay for. What is its deadly price? Only the ones we destroy know...
