The Attack of the IMs

The number of non-Instant Message winners are disproportionate to the amount of IMs actually posted on the Random Game this week. If you didn't venture into
the RG this week, trust me, there were a lot of them.
And if you didn't venture in, what's up with that?

First, getting the IMs out of the way, 10 tokens to both Dante and Sal,
as well as to 10 to Khaleth and 15 to Zornog.

Dante303:::does something for Sal's viewing pleasure::

DrSalina:I didn't know you were into that kind of thing, Dante, but hey... when in Rome.. ::does something for Dante's viewing pleasure::

Dante303:I was doing a card trick...what were you doing?

DrSalina:Hand puppets.

Zornog:Can I ask you a question?
Khaleth:You just did.
Zornog:Can I ask you another one?
Zornog:No, wait!

I've noticed that life is a lot like that game... you know, the one where you drive that little station wagon with those pegs that are supposed to represent your family, and you have to try to become a millionaire or at least get out of college... damnit, what the hell is the name of it..?

15 tokens to SoupEater -- if he had actually gotten such a transcript from God and Moses, he would have gotten 20.

You see, I happen to believe in evolution, but I also believe that God told Moses how he created the world. But Moses, not having any kind of education in natural history, didn't understand. This is how I think the conversation went:

God1452: And that's what I mean by "survival of the fittest."
FunkyMoses: What? Survival of the fittest? What the hell are you talking about?
God1452: Well, when there is some kind of change in the ecology of an ecosystem, some animals, in response, will spontaneously start giving birth to offspring that have some kind of adaptation to deal with the change.
FunkyMoses:Adaptation? Evolution? What the hell?
God1452: The ones born without these adaptations end up dying. And that adaptation will continue to exist in the offsprings' Deoxyribonucleic acid.
FunkyMoses: Deoxyribo--what the hell?
God1452: OK. I quit. I'll make this simple. I created the Earth in six days, yadda yadda yadda, I made this guy. He was lonely, so I took his ribs blah blah blah, then the snake, etc etc etc, you get me now?

These next two posts were made within 10 minutes of each other. Separated at birth -- Zarla and Goo? Scary thought, but scarier for whom? 10 tokens to both.

I hate it when AOL crashes. It causes my train of thought ta derail and hit my logic, killing it on da spot. That's happened alot. Does logic ever learn?.....

Someone offered me a "penny for my thoughts". I took it and placed it on the tracks of my "train of thought" causing it to derail. Whoops.

10 tokens to Lndon, not because her post is particularly funny, but because the same thing happened to me and the only thing I had the ability to think at the time was "S**t!"

AOL is slowly hunting us down, trapping us in the online world...
I tried to sign off, and got a sign that said, "We're sorry, this service is temporarily unavailable."
I'm scared. I'm very scared.

I'm sure I award Kat tokens for this first post about every other month, but why break from tradition. I'm also sure 15 tokens is too much to give him, so I'll give him 20.

>>PiaAdams: Hey, who's James Bond's American counterpart?>>

there is no american counterpart to james bond. he had a license to kill. we as american aren't all proper and stuffy like those bleeding brits. we kill as we see fit, screw the license. i think a close counterpart would be hulk hogan, just because he can whoop some arse...

I'm also sure that ZYX's first post is TAGgable somewhere along the line. And, I'm sure that these will be RiottAngel's first tokens from the Random Game, I think. 20 to both.

It's really bad when everything reminds you of the Random Game. My typical day:

Teacher: Your essay was awful. All the thoughts were dissorganized and random.

Dad: We're getting close to the toll. Get out the tokens.

Mom: Look at the pretty thread Gramma used to sew this for you.

Someone at school: You're not funny and you're a loser.

See? Everything's just like the Random Game.

I'm also sure of something else, but I'm not sure what it was. 20 tokens to Bob and Carc.

Drivers in a funeral procession drive much slower than normal. You'd think they'd be in a hurry to get that rotting corpse in the ground.

I think I'll quit smoking. Right after I quit smoldering.

I'm also sure that I should've just lumped InsaneInOR's posts with Bob's and Carc's. He gets 20 tokens, too.

It never fails. I run to the store for beer and cigarettes and my wife tells me she needs Maxi Pads.

Clerk: "This oughta be some party!"
Me: "Bite me."

When you have a fever of 104 it is not a good idea to hit the things you think are hallucinations.

Sorry honey...

I'm also sure that I forgot the 25 and 30 token winners; I'm sure I'm sorry, but this is where it ends this week, because I'm sure the "I'm sure" thing is getting annoying. Congrats to the winners, and by the way, I use Secret -- Sure is in no way benefiting from its above mentions in the Random Game. But, doesn't that go without saying?
