• April 9: Kouzou Fuyutski is born.

1967 AD 

• April 29: Gendo Rotubungi is born.

1977 AD 

• Yui Ikari is born.

1985 AD 

• November 25: Ritsuko Akagi is born.

1986 AD 

• December 8: Misato Katuragi is born.

1999 AD 

• Kyoto, Japan: Professor Kouzou Fuyutski meets Yui Ikari who has an amazing paper about bio-technology.  Fuyutski also is worried with the relationship between her and a man named Gendo Rokubungi.  Fuyutski is also worried about Yui's connections to a organization known as SEELE.

2000 AD 

• September 13: The Second Impact occurs.  This catastrophic event causes 1/3 of the world's population to die out, and millions of others continue living in poverty and disease.
• Dr. Katsuragi, the leader of the Antartic expedition for SEELE is also killed during the Second Impact.  Misato Katsuragi is the sole survivor of the whole tragic event, which she witnessed first hand.
• September 14: Kaoru Nagisa is born.
• September 15: An armed conflict occurs at the border of India and Pakistan.
• September 20: Tokyo is annihilated by a new type of bomb, N2.

2001 AD 

• The hell continues as floods begins to subside and mankind tires to begin aknew.
• Rei Ayanami is born.
• February 14: Peace Treaty of Valentine is signed, and war ends.
• February 18: Horaki Hikari is born.
• June 6: Shinji Ikari is born.
• September 12: Kensuke Aida is born.
• December 4: Asuka Langley Sohryu is born.
• December 26: Touji Suzuhara is born.

2002 AD 

• Antartic: Fuyutski and Gendo meet again.  Fuyutski is surprised that Gendo is now married to Yui Ikari and they now have a son.  Gendo adapts the family name of this wife: Ikari.  Gendo and Fuyutski also talk about the necessary steps to cover up the truth during the Second Impact which includes the existence of a Giant of Light.
• Antartic Isolation Ward: Misato Katsuragi's physical wounds are now healed.  However, the events she witnessed still leaves her tramatized.  She hasn't spoken to anyone in 2 years.
• United Nation explains that the incident in the Antartic was caused by a meteorite collision.  Mass cover-ups were made.

2003 AD 

• Gehrin is formed to study the events leading to the Second Impact was well as its meaning for mankind.
• Artificial Evolution Laboratory: Fuyutski meets Dr. Akagi (Ritsuko's mother) for the first time in years.  Dr. Akagi is working on the MAGI system, a network of three thinking supercomputers.
• Fuyutski also sees Evangelion for the first time.  Dr. Akagi explains that this is Adam by man: Eva.  Gendo explains the details of Project E to Fuyutski: to revive Adam, to create a new genesis for mankind.

2004 AD 

• Artificial Evolution Laboratory:Yui Ikari dies (1977-2004) when she is wiped out during an Evangelion S2 Engine activation test.  She was 27 whe she died. (Take note that Gendo did not wear glasses before the accident of his wife).
• Gendo proposes to the committee to start a new project called the Human Instrumentality Project.  This project's main purpose is to make man into a god. 
• Rei Ayanami appears.  All record pertaining to her were erased.

2005 AD 

• Tokyo-2 University: Misato Katsuragi, Ryouji Kaji and Ritsuko Akagi all meet for the first time.  It seems that Misato's very open personality contradict's Ritsuko's very secretive life, this the two become quick friends.
• The heated relationship between Kaji and Misato is also mentioned by Ritsuko in a letter to her mom.
• Ritsuko Akagi is to start her work with the E Project next month.
• Germany: Soryu Kyoko Zeppelin, mother of Asuka commits suicide after suffering months of mental breakdown during a contact test.
• Shiji Ikari is fostered out by his father.

2007 AD 

• UN Headquarters moves to Tokyo-2.

2008 AD 

• The Magi S.C. System is finished by Dr. Akagi.

2009 AD 

• Misato and Kaji joins Gehrin.

2010 AD 

• Human Instrumentality Project is approved, and the Geihrin Project is terminated.  It has been replaced with NERV, whose head is Gendo Ikari.
• Construction of Tokyo-3 begins.
• Dr. Akagi commits suicide after killing Rei Ayanami.  Rei died when she was aged 12.
• Germnay: Asuka is chosen as the Second Child.

2012 AD 

• Last meeting of Shinji and Gendo Ikari.

2014 AD 

• Rei and Asuka begins Eva pilot training.

2015 AD 

• Tokyo-3: Twenty-two days prior to the attack of the Third Angel, Ritsuko Akagi and Gendo Ikari begin the first activation test for Evangelion Unit 00.  Rei is injured during the attempt.
• The Third Child is found.
• The Third Angel attacks
• Command of NERV UN special forces is handed over to Gendo Ikari.
• The Third Child: Shinji Ikari is aquired by Misato Katsuragi.
• Shinji Ikari attacks the Angel.  Unit 01 wins the encounter when the Evangelion when berserk.
• Events said during the course of the series begins here.

2016 AD 

• The Human Complementation (Human Instrumentality) Project is executed.
• Third Impact has occured.
