Unit-00 Model 1

EVA-00 was the first Evangelion to be built by NERV, a result of year-long research and countless failed attepts by many scientists. After a major control-loss it was revised and equipped with new armor plates.

After the reconstruction, EVA-00 became more stable and was recalled into duty.

EVA-01

EVA-01 is the second Prototype build by NERV and integrates the S2 organ. 01 has the best combat-performance of all EVAs but is also the most unstable, going out of control several times.

Notes: Yui's soul is believed to be traped inside.

EVA-02

Built in Germany EVA-02 is the first production model. It is the most stable of the Evangelions so far.

EVA-03

EVA-03 was built in the US and is the second Production Model. Unfortunately EVA-03 falls into control of an Angel and has to be destroyed by EVA-01. (Touji is retrieved critically injured - he loses an arm and a leg).
