Stumble into you website tonight and read your story. I am currently being seen by specialist that says all symptoms are pointing to FMS. Been treated for arthritis for years, but suddenly got much worse last year. Sed rate was sky high etc. Would love to chat, discuss meds etc. It was blessing winding up here. Thanks for your story, it helps me know I'm not alone. You just cant explain the pain to anyone except those who have this disease. I live in Ky. so the weather is not too bad, but when it gets cold the pain is something else. Your story does help.

dott's life story

The progression of your fibromyalgia is very close to mine except i still live up north and never have a second without pain...and that is along with taking a major protocol of medications. I never had a doctor be very generous with the controlled meds like tylenol #3, percocet, etc. though. i asked my rheumatologist for one of
those meds to get me through the last weeks of my job and he would only give me enough for one every six hours for two weeks (along with my regular meds), but that wasn't enough to relieve my pain. i won't go into my whole story, but i want to say just 2 more things:

#1 i finally gave up and had to stop working; i just couldn't push myself anymore...

#2 i'm glad you found a mate that is so understanding; i thought i had one. he was very supportive throughout the years as my fibro progressed but, after my doctor said that i should stop working because i would probably never get any better, he started to act like the sight of me disguested him.

This is a truly wonderful, insightful website. I also enjoyed the roses border. I have just recently realized that I am also a sufferer of fibromyalgia, even though I've had all the symptoms for quite a number of years.
