Well I don't play any instruments, but I'd like to one day, I'm just fucking broke and can't afford one. Oh well, someday..... Enough of that bullshit though. I'm getting a little tired of bitching about this and that. This is all about the muzik that has kept me going on though my life.
I'd like to thank all the local bands from Augusta, GA that put on all those concerts, dieAgnostic, fixt, Cycle, Jemani, Foul Mouth, Riff Raff Kings, Sheldon, and all the others that played here and kept the music scene alive in Augusta. I'd have to say I've had more fun at the local concerts than I've had at some of the bigger concerts (mostly because of a lot of the bigger concerts I've seen have had those fucking baracades 5 feet from the stage, so its up close and personal with the crowd and thats what concerts are all about). Support your local music scene!
A lot of the music I listen to, no one understands or just doesn't like, or well they think its "devil music." Well for one, not as many bands as they think actually promote the worship of the devil or even talk about religion other than a few words like "god help me" or something to the point of "the devil will take you." So don't give me some bullshit about how everything I listen to is devil worshipping, because well its not and I'll tell you where you can put your close minded ass. Now back to what I was saying....the music is more than its words, so what if it says kill your mom and dad, the band doesn't want you to actually kill them, they are just words, listen to the music, because everyone at some point or another has said "I want to kill him/her." All the music is, is a vent for feelings and emotions so that we don't do that, just like the mosh pit, I love to get in the "pit" its a way to vent your feelings. There is nothing better for it, well to me at least. If you don't understand it, try it, if you don't like it, don't go in it, stay away from it, but don't just say its not good and close your mind to it.
Mosh pit = strong emotions + controlled release
The Mosh Pit is part of a concert, at least all metal, punk, and hardcore ones, even if you put guards and cops in there, there will still be a mosh pit. They just aren't stupid enough at a large concert to jump into the middle of it and try to stop it. Its part of the experience, but if you don't want in it, move to the back or at least get away from it, but be aware its there.
