[9] Marion worked on the farm in Chismville, Logan County, Arkansas, livedand worked on a sharecrop farm in Centeral City, Sebastain County,Arkansas, till Camp Chaffee took over all the land in that area. Hethen moved his family to the Ozark, Franklin County, Arkansas. Laterhe moved south of Fort Smith, and he worked for the Gibbs dairy, andSigenthager farm. After Evy died he worked for the old Broadway Cafeon Garrison Avenue.

Funeral services for Marion William Hardwick, 69, of Fort Smith, washeld Friday, Oct. 6, 1967, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cottonwood FreewillBaptist church with Rev. J. K. Woods, officiationg.
Interment will be in Steep Hill Cemetery south of Fort Smith by AgentFuneral Home of Sallisaw.
Mr. Hrdwick was born February 25, 1898 in Missouri and passed awayOctober 3. He was a retired farmer and a member of Assembly of GodChurch.
Survivors include three sons, Lloyd of Vian, Elbert of Long Beach,Calif., Earnest of Fort Smith,; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Blanscet ofJenny Lind, two brothers, Walter and Richard both of Phoenix, Arizona;one sister Mrs. Virgie Scherer of Oklahoma City; ten grandchildren andone great great grandchild.
