The Indians Game, June 9,
2000
|
The
conference committee was fortunate to secure a number of tickets to the
Indians game against the Cincinnati Reds. The game included luxury bus
transportation to Jacobs Field and a good hour or more to explore the
massive stadium prior to the game. For many, spouses had insisted that
this event be attended, some even e-mailed in watch lists. Happily,
their enthusiasm was matched by a find performance by the Indians who
took the game by a decent margin and celebrated with a massive fireworks
display. Nothing impresses those Canadians more than decent fireworks.
On a very warm day, a warm evening at the stadium sampling the classic
American moments of major league baseball was a true privilege and a
memorable ending for those who could stay over. |

A 'wave' for child and youth care and for the Ohio
Association of Child and Youth Care Professionals for a most memorable
conference. |
