Crimson Warrior: The duration of Navahl's painfully short screentime...
(Part One)

A dramatic enterance is always a good way to introduce an incredible character. The first time we catch a glimsp of our hero, he's running for what seems like his life (if one can run casually then that's exactly what he was doing.) Running from what you might ask and why. Well, the only thing I can answer is what... a group of five soldiers, heavily armed and seemingly well-trained. As stated above, I no not the reason why Navahl was fleeing or why they were after him in the first place. My guess is that Navahl was just being Navahl and killed someone "because he felt like it."

In any case, Navahl seems to make a wrong turn and ends up walking (or should I say sauntering) right up to the edge of a very steep cliff with quite a long drop. Though I'm sure he could have found some way to jump down there without hurting himself, he decides to turn and face his attackers... probably just because he wanted to have some fun by smackin their heads around. Let's just say cornering Navahl wasn't a very bright idea. As soon as a soldier lunges for him, he easily side steps and lets the guy go tumbling past him. The others swing their swords in attempts to hit, but Navahl just reluctantly moves out of the blades' paths. He actually seem rather bored at their weak attacks.

However, this is when the fun begins. Knowing that he'd just better "get it over with", Navahl unsheaths his two sacred swords, one attached to each hip, and makes very short work of the soldiers. It all happens rather quickly since his fighting style can basically be summed up in three words: swift, smooth and deadly. He turns, proudly facing the sunrise, as his blades glow a bright pink in the morning light.

Sensing a new danger from behind, his instinctive reflexes kick in, as he whips around, jumps into the air and brings his swords down apon an archer that was aiming at him from behind. The archer flops over and Navahl stands up straight, sheathing his swords with great composure. To his surprise, an echo of applause rings through the canyon, and he immediately places his hands on his hilt, as a rather husky looking bandit boss looms above him. "You're quite a swordsman," he laughs and continues, "To my mind that spells mercenary."

Being the lone swordsman that he is, Navahl "kindly" declines the offer to join the group of bandits. The boss persists though and says that he could give Navahl anything he wanted.. if money wasn't an issue, then he'd get him girls. Navahl turns away at this comment (it's a touchy subject). As Navahl continues to ponder it over, the boss's bandit flunkies pull up in a large horse-drawn caravan with a cage attached to the back. An unusal prisoner is being held captive.. a Lamodonian Priestess adorned in white robes sits quietly in the back, being hauled off to the bandits' hideout at their leader's command.

Navahl, seemingly distrubed by this experiance (though he doesn't show it), turns to the bandit boss and finally accepts the invitation to join them. His purposes for joining up are revealed later on...
