Pokémon Snap
This is the game where no battle is done between trainers and Pokémon, this time.. we're going to only take pictures!
Japanese Title Screen
The game was out on July 26th bringing all the fans bizerk!

You have recieved a letter from Professor Oak asking you to come to Pokémon Island to take pictures of Pokémon for his report. You, are the character from the cartoon, Snap aka. Todd and you ride on the Zero-One, which is a machine that could float, sail and ride on the courses. In the beginning of the game, you are only equipped with a camera(with 60 shots) but when you gradually beat the requirements, you will get more things you could use to take pictures of Pokémon easier and unlock secrets.

Some things you will get from Professor Oak are:
ZERO-ONE
Camera - Given to you in the beginning of the game to take pictures of Pokémon.
Apples - Used to lure Pokémon towards the apples to get a better shot
Pester Balls - Throw these at the Pokémon might have different effects
PokéFlute - Play it in front of different Pokémon to see what they would do

To get bigger points taking pictures, you must try to get it as close as possible (but not too close), as much pokémon of the same species in one picture, the pokémon should be in the middle of the frame, try to get them to an interesting pose, and get them to look towards you so you could see its face. Also, take many pictures of one pokémon in one shot so you could pick your favourite out in the end.

A picture of the island is shown below....

Map of Pokémon Island!

Rapidash running swiftlyVulpix in the Volcano StageThere are six stages in total, they include (in order) the beach, a tunnel, the volcano, a river, caves, a valley and the secret stage: Rainbow Cloud. Each stage has their own kinds of pokémon which live there. There are AT LEAST 12 differnt Pokémon in each stage (except the last one), so try to use your items in some places to see what would happen.

Pikachu and Diglett!!Electrode is going to explodeIn the stages, you might encounter Pikachu the most, and others like Zubat and Magikarp. Some Pokémon that only appear in particular stages are: Charmander, Diglett, Eevee, Kakuna, Grimer, Squirtle and Psyduck.

There are some pokémon that appear only if you do something. If you're stuck, check out our Pokémon Snap Help for info you need to pass particular stages.

From the pictures above, you could see that the Zero-One could transform to any of them, but it depends on which stage you are on.

You could even print out the pictures you take ... Bring 'em to a Blockbuster and print your pics into a sticker(16), like those photo stickie pics! Show 'em off to peeps and stick 'em everywhere!!
