And a good time was had by all...
This month's meeting featured food and writing
fellowship. First, the food, then sitting around talking writer-style
- mouths full, arms gesticulating, three conversations at once.
Several people volunteered to share their works and thoughts
with us. The subject was Christmas Past or Imagined or Whatever.
Sharing food and talk is as old as humanity, and although we
sat under electric lights rather than by the cave fire, many
of the good feelings that we have in common with our fellow
humans on this very small planet, especially at this time of
year, were present in our meeting that night.
