DAISY NOOK

Here is a 1905 postcard of Daisy Nook. Although it was only just part of Oldham, it was definately thought of as the place for Oldhamers to spend the day on a summer weekend or Bank Holiday. Notice the River Medlock in the foreground. Today Daisy Nook is a National Trust Country Park.
