Dr. Gloria J. Forward became the second President of The International Apostolic University of Grace and Truth on July 15,
2000. Serving as Co-President with Dr. Louise P. Freeman for the past eight years, she began her International University
career establishing, organizing and directing twenty-one satellite schools. She recognizes and praises God for knowledge,
wisdom, understanding, and realizes that without God we can do nothing. Therefore, she positively affirms, "I can
do all things through Christ that strengthen me" [Philippians 4:13]. Her ultimate desire is to serve God and his people
in love and possess the destiny that God has planned for her life. A native of Anniston, Alabama, Dr. Forward
graduated from Cobb Avenue High School in May 1958 as the Class Salutatorian. Based on her academic achievement, she was awarded
a four-year scholarship to attend Talladega College, Talladega, Alabama, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree with
a major in Biology and minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Forward received her Master of Arts degree in Managment and Supervision from Central Michigan University in 1974. She
served as a Chemist for several years and retired as a Senior Management Consultant at Wright Patterson Air Force Base with
Over thrity four years of outstanding service. The Lord has blessed her to acquire education, training and expertise in many
diverse functional diciplines such as Management Engineering, Manpower and Organization Analysis, Planning and Programing,
Quality Course Development and Instruction. Dr. Forward was Baptized in Jesus Name and received the Gift of the
Holy Ghost at Bethesda Temple, Dayton, Ohioin 1972, under the pastorate of the Late Bishop Ralph Bass. She became a menber
of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, under pastorate of Bishop Fred Majors, Pastor and Founder. Dr. Forward received most
of her foundational Biblical teaching under Bishop Majors. She is an Ordained Minister and has been gifted with
Ministry of Helps. She enjoyed serving as the Assistant to the Pastor for Both Bishop Majors and Elder Andrew Lofton. She
currently serves as Associate Minister, Church Administrator, Executive Board and Special Event Coordinator for Christ Temple.
The Lord has also blessed Dr. Forward to serve as an international teacher, seminar/worshop presenter with the International
Minitsters Wives Association of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. She is an International Christian Education Consultant,
World Assemblies of Restoration, Inc. In addition, Dr. Forward has been actively involved in the community. She has worked
with several youth programs such as the Sinclair Community College Young Scholars Program, Wright State University Science,
Engineering and Technology Pre-College Program ( Wright STEPP) and the Parent Linkage Program at Indiana University East in
Richmond, Indiana.
Dr. Forward has been married to her loving husband, Elder Alphonsa forward, Sr. for thirty eight years. They are the proud
parents of six children, Sharon Johnson, Derrick, Alphonsa Jr., Deborah, Joy and Valerie. They have been blessed with two
grandchildren, Kameron and Barrett Johnson. Dr. Forward is grateful to God for the love and support she receives from all
of her family members. Dr. Forward is a rare jewel of a person. She never meets a stranger, and knows how to walk with kings
and queens without losing the common touch. She truly has a "servants" heart, and is therefore poised to do great
things in the Kingdom of God.
