Apple Valleys

A little history behind Apple Valleys name:

First of all we live on Apple Lane that's why most of my web sites & email addresses have that in them. Second of all when we were going to buy our house, we bought a panelized home from Wausau Homes. All the different house are in a book with floor plans & sizes & they all have names. Well every time we picked a house & the contractor gave us a price, we would always end up back at the same page & house, Apple Valley. So as it turned out we bought Apple Valley. When I first started my page that is what it's name was...Apple Valley , not Apple Valleys. But I messed it up & couldn't get back on to edit it, sooo... I started over with Apple Valleys. By the way I also have apples stenciled in my kitchen. They are not my favorite, but you would think they were, wouldn't you?

Hi,

I'm Vicki, my favorite color is green, I love critters...cats being my favorite, which I have 3, all black, all strays at one time. We also have a dog, an English Setter.

We have 3 children, Kristina, Joshua & Lucas. Krissy is married to Mike, they have 4 children. Josh is an artist, he goes to UofM, studying to be an Art Professor. SEE ART GALLERY. Josh ended last year with a 4.0. Josh's girlfriend, Anna also goes to UofM, she is studying pyschology.

Luke is also attending UofM, he is in his second year of studying wildlife biology. WILDLIFE...go Lucas! (Do you suppose he gets the love of animals from me?)

My husbands name is Ernie, he is a carpenter/mason. We have been married 26 years, we were married on New Years Day. He & both of my son's are avid hunters & fishermen.

I love country music...George Strait being #1. I also like all kinds of music. I like to stencil, I have stenciled our home, I design & stencil cheeseboxes for gifts & I sell them occasionally. I like other crafts also. I love my flower beds. I love my computer & all the cool things you can do & make with it. I enjoy our grandkids very much, when I get to see them, which isn't often enough. I love making new friends on the internet.

I come from a large family of 8 siblings, 3 boys & 5 girls, me being #6,. I have lots & lots of nephews, nieces & great nephews & nieces who of course love their Aunt Vicki, right? Known to some as Aunt Bicks! :0)

I am a Christian & I am a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. I am Native American & I am a member of The Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians. The things that make me happiest or make me tick are: Making someone smile or laugh, making someone's day with a gift or a kind gesture.

Some of the jobs I have had are, seamstress at a guncase factory. Motel Maid, Waitress, I've cleaned houses on my own, P.M.R. (Postmaster Relief) & Curio Shop Clerk.

I chose the clover design for Luck. But it really doesn't seem to be working!

Well that pretty much sums me up. (for now)

These are our Grandchildren. These pictures were taken in July 2002, so Kalista is 4 now & Jordan is 1 year now & walking! (GOOD LUCK MOM!) We don't get to see them often. They are our daughter, Krissy & our Son-in-law, Mike's children.
