Have You Ever Seen The Rain?
(J.C. Fogerty)
Someone told me long ago There's a calm before the storm I know It's
been coming for some time When it's over so they say It'll rain on a sunny day I know Shining down like water
I wanna know Have you ever seen the rain? I wanna know Have you ever seen the rain?
Coming down on a sunny day Yesterday and days before Sun is cold and rain is hard I know
It's been that way for all my time Till forever on it goes Through the circle fast and slow I know And
it can't stop I wonder
I wanna know Have you ever seen the rain? I wanna know Have you ever seen the rain?
I wanna know Have you ever seen the rain? I wanna know Have you ever seen the rain?
This is Isabelle, now named Missy. A lovely little whippet. Her origins are shady, but our
information leads us to believe that she was purchased from a puppy mill in Montreal. Her new owners gave up on her
and they left her at my pet food store. BARK agreed to help her and she stayed with me for fostering. On her second night
with me she ran away from a dog walker and was hit by a car. She suffered many cuts and abrassions and she faced
the whole situation with a nobility no human could ever muster. She touched my heart and reminded me of why I loved
fostering so much!
She has been adopted by Kathleen and Richard. She is very happy in her new home and is learning
to be a real dog! It takes special owners to have a special dog. Thank you so much Kathleen and Richard.
Missy is blessed to have you!
I miss you Sweet-bean!
This is Sadie, now named Pogo (which suits her to a tee). Pogo is a Keeshond mix with a personality
that could melt your heart. A very very busy dog with charisma to boot, Pogo managed to wiggle her way into the hearts
of Dixie, Malcomb, and her new buddy Trapper. I want to thank you all so much for seeing in Pogo what I saw. A
little girl desperate to be loved and desperate to love someone back. I know you adore her and that fate brought you
all together. I know you were meant to be together!
P.S. Jacob misses you bunches and bunches... but he's gald to have his bed back!
And here's Jack. Jack Daniels to be precise...
Jack, Jack Jack! Please don't eat any more beds!
Kathy and Doug are Jack's new family and I know that despite his separation anxiety he is loved
very much. This poor confused worried dog, passed through too many hands in too short a time, is looking for some stability
now, and he's finally found it {he just hasn't realized it yet}! Molly, his new buddy really likes him and it makes
Jack less lonely for his brother Hunter who he was always with until recently. Jack, I know you'll settle soon and figure
it all out! Kathy and Doug aren't going anywhere... and neither are you! Love ya Kiddo!
Gabriel
Gabriel is a 7-10 year old Border Collie Mix. He suffered a burn to his face, head and shoulder.
This dear little spirit of a dog is gentle and loving and trusting. Quiet and determined to survive. He has been
adopted by an amazing man named Murray who fell in love with Gabe the second he set his eyes upon him. Gabe now happily
does volunteer work at the Glebe Center for the elderly. I see Gabe regularly and am very happy to tell you that he
now has beautiful hair growing in over his horrendous scars. What an incredible little creature! You will
always be in my heart Gabriel!
