TUNKU PUTRA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, KUCHING, SARAWAKThe school is named after the Father of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Ali Haj. It
opened in January 1997 and offers International Education from Kindergarten to
Year 11 and National from Kindergarten to Primary 6. Future
plans include a National Secondary. Students
in the International section follow an Australian curriculum. The
School operations a full day programme from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
In additional to core academic subjects, the curriculum includes:
computing, music, dance, sport, swimming, languages and ‘drama’. TPIS
has a motto: “Kita Boleh” (we can) and this is reflected in everything that
