Michael D. Blostein has been working actively as a musician through composing, arranging, educating, playing tuba and working as a copyist since 1996. With two degrees in music, experience in a multitude of styles and genres in most areas of music, and a reputation for high quality work and high effort, he has earned the honor of working with musicians from all walks of life and of all levels. Mr. Blostein has a wide range of experience from composing, conducting, adjudicating, being a published arranger, and an educator. He has performed, taught and generally created great music in Vermont, Arizona and throughout New York State. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and a Master's Degree in Composition from the University of Arizona. Mr. Blostein is currently based in the Albany, NY area and is available for any of the items listed above.
