Legend of terms:
Off the paper - able to sing your part without using your music, both notes and words learned.  At this point work will still be in progress, mistakes will be made, but you are free to pay better attention to the director.

Singable level - piece is now considered "new repertoire".  Although the piece has not been taken to "Performance Level", it is at a level of singability that it may now be considered for use in sing-outs.
Further work on honing the piece will be needed to take it to "Performance Level".

Performance level - piece is ready to be performed.  Music, words, choreography and interpretation are a consistent part of the package of the song.  Performance level is sung in chorus position.

Chorus Position - standing in the place you normally do for a performance.  Our chorus positions are determined to best complement the other voices in the chorus, as well as to provide each of us with the ability to hear the other parts clearly.  The position of each member is determined by the Director and may be changed at any time to aid in the overall sound of the chorus.
