- What are the
recommended system requirements for Video Gateway?
- Can I encode and
index my video content at the same time? And in what formats?
- Is
full text speech indexing possible during the capture of a live stream?
- What
is the lag time between a live stream being indexed and an end user’s ability to
search the live event – during the Internet broadcast?
- What
is Media Gateway Service?
Minimum system requirements:
Video Gateway can simultaneously encode multiple video
streams in Real, Microsoft, QuickTime, or MPEG formats at different bit rates during
real-time video indexing with perfect synchronization.
Closed caption text, from any type of format including live
streams and digital file formats, will be extracted and used as full text speech
indexing. If the video does not contain closed caption text, Pictron Audio Gateway
provides the technology to analyze the audio track and extract the dialog through speech
recognition.
Live streams can be indexed and searched in real time,
providing the streams and database are on the same server. If the database and
streams are stored on separate servers, then there will be a time lag of a few minutes.
