Double D

There are Tons of Double D fans, lots of shrines dedicated to him, tons of fanarts, poems ect. And most Edd fans don't like Eddy fans nor Eddy either. I think that Double D is  an over rated character from the show, and that people fail to see that:

1. 9 out of 10 times his 'inventions' fail in some way

2. He has an annoying need to be smarter than everyone else

3. He constantly disses Eddy and all his ideas

4. Yes, he IS mean to Eddy all the time (applied to the arguement that

' Eddy is mean to him')

All i hear from sites is how 'cute' Double D is, how smart and how Eddy is such an emotionless, bad guy. Well, as you can see from the site, i believe that Eddy has to be a great guy just to put up with someone who constantly puts down everything he says and does, without punching him out. As far as 'cute' goes i can't see that in Double D. I mean Ed is adorable in a sweet, cuddly way. And Eddy is HOT ^^; but Edd? can't see it....

 

I get sooooo sick of the 'Eddy is short' thing.... i mean sure he's not as tall as the other Eds or...anyone else in the cul-de-sac for that matter... but personality wise, Eddy is the tallest person on the show.

 

The 'money hungary' thing is also annoying to hear from edd fans, if Eddy didn't love money and jawbreakers then....there'd be NO show! since thats what the show is based around, them doing scams to get money for jawbreakers.

 

This comment i saw in a few places across the net: 'if Edd took over as leader then the Eds would be more popular and get more jawbreakers'.

How stupid IS that comment anyhow? If Double  D was leader of the group, then there would be no scams because he is to obsessed with not breaking any rules. They wouldn't be more popular, because he'd have them inside all the time reading or working on things. And if he did get them money he'd spend it on science things and new lab equipment, not jawbreakers.

 

The Ego thing

Everyone seems to think Eddy has a horrible ego problem. Yet no one seems to notice, besides me, that Eddy is almost always the Ed who is picked on, beat up or embarrased in an episode. Even his own friends do it, Edd disses all his ideas and makes little comments about him all the time. Ed is the only real friend that Eddy has, since anything he does to hurt him is innocent and accidental. Since everyone picks on him so badly and he's hurt emotionally so much, he has to love himself to stay alive. not to mention he has to live without his brother wherever he went.

What's under Edd's hat?

WHO CARES!?.....agh i get so sick of that stupid question but just to give my opinion i would have to say DUH...if you'll notice, most guys on the show have little hair, besides maybe Jimmy and Rolf. Kevin has 3 hairs, so does Eddy and Ed and Jonny have little hair at all. So, why would Edd have really long hair? (like everyone seems to think) Also, if you'll notice that when Eddy wears something on his head, his 3 hairs go down in the back, just like Double D's.

 

The-which Ed has it the worst-Question

I would say Ed, He's my 2nd fav character from the show, and if you pay attention you'll notice some things about him. Like his room for instance, he has very little, besides a few movie posters, a comic or two, a few toys/models, and a small tv. His bed half the time it's shown, has no blankets nor pillow on it, his closet his empty of clothes. He lives in the basement, while his sister's room is jam packed with toys and dolls, clothes, and a huge bed with a canopy. Not to mention how he seems to have an immense fear of his parents, expecially his mother. Which leads to the question....is he hit by her? (i like giving depth to the show)

Of course! what would Eddy be without the perfect type voice of Tony?
