For those of you who have been following my site over the past couple of weeks, you know that I've been working on a special project for all of you. the long late hours trying to fulfill that gaming rush! Now it's time to inflict this

Special Note (May 3, 2001) Important Announcement! This message only applies to visitors who want to learn how to create their own Sims skins. I am posting this now so that everyone will have an ample opportunity to familiarize themselves with the program I have selected to work with before we get started. Okay. A lot of thought went into picking the right program. The main art program needs to support layers, have the ability to work with filters, be easy to use, and most important, be as cheap as possible. The program we will be working with is Serif PhotoPlus version 7. It supports everything we need in a "skinning" program and it's a decent all-around art program. Normally, this program sells for $59.99. However, I have made a special deal with Serif Incorporated which will make this program available to you for only $29.99, Note: This special price is only available through the following link: Everything that I will teach on skinning will use instructions that you'll be able to easily follow in PhotoPlus 7. I will be offering templates and raw resources for PhotoPlus 7, which will greatly reduce the work load. These templates will also allow you to assemble skins with absolutely no artistic effort on your part, should you be artistically challenged (no offense). You are welcome to use which ever art program you choose, but the files and instructions that I provide will need PhotoPlus 7, If you are adept at using a different program, then you can create your own templates from scratch and modify the instructions where necessary. Note: The best program for this task is Adobe PhotoShop. The problem is, PhotoShop costs several hundreds of dollars. The next choice would be JASC Paint Shop Pro. But, Paint Shop Pro costs over a hundred dollars. PhotoPlus 7 fits the bill nicely. Does what we need it to do, without breaking the bank!
