Overview
In the year 2000, the planet Earth was struck by a disaster known as the "Second Impact", the world's population was decreased by half in the aftermath. Reports stated that it was caused by meteorites impact in the Antartica region... of which final result was the melting of the polar ice cap... But further investigation proved otherwise...
15 years later, the year 2015, while the world is being restored, mysterious giant entities called "Angels" suddenly appear in Tokyo-3, a technologically advanced city under development in the Hakone area... Tokyo-3
However, this two occurances are only a continuation of a single event that last for decades... as the United Nations investigation team begins to uncover pieces of truth about the cause of the "Second Impact"...  Angel
NERV Logo NERV, a United Nations special task force, is ordered to kill them. They bring about their humanoid fighting machines, "Evangelions", which are piloted by some 14-year-old teenagers, acting as the "soul" of the "Evangelions".
