Well my name is Fred and im 38 years old and I currently
live on my own in a small town in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I live in Schuylkill, (pronounced, "skool
- kil") County is located in East Central Pennsylvania and is situated just west of the Pocono Mountains and on the northern
edge of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country. While many people know our area as the "Coal Region", and the home to Yuengling, America's
Oldest Brewery, Schuylkill County is blessed with outdoor beauty that draws hundreds of thousands to our area every year.
From atop the Blue Mountain, hikers along the Appalachian Trail explore
the scenic southern edge of the county. Along the way, these hikers enjoy scenic vistas of the "Endless" Mountains to the
north. Neatly tucked away within these mountains and valleys, visitors are enjoying the outdoors at hundreds of campsites,
hiking our trails, hunting in our state game lands, fishing in our streams and viewing the landscape from the valley floors
and mountain ridges. Just one visit to Hawk Mountain's North Lookout will explain it all.

include America's Oldest Brewery "The Yuengling Brewery", The Pioneer Tunnel Coal Mine, Big Diamond Raceway, Rausch Creek
Motorsports Park, Jerry's Classic Cars and Collectibles Museum, Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, Locust Lake, Tuscarora and Swatara
State Parks, three Wineries, five public golf courses, one of a kind monuments, historical museums and much more.
Well a little about my occupation which is in the health care field. I work full time for
Schuylkill Valley EMS where i have mutiple functions within the organization. My primary role is the American Heart
Association Training Center Coordinator. I also am a member of the SVEMS Surge Team which responds to all disasters both manmade
and natural when requested. I became a EMT in November of 1991 and have been a active emt since.I also work part
time for Pottsville Area EMS and Life Safe Services. This career can be very rewarding especially bring a new life into the
world but we see more taken away. Sometimes I wonder if its really worth it.
Well my volunteer fire career started at the age of 16 and I have been active in the fire
service since that time which is 21 years. My current status is with two fire stations. I currently live in a fire-ems station
in Schuylkill County and the station is know as East Norwegian Twp Emergency Services where I am a captain and the Hauto
Fire-Rescue Dept located in Nesquehoning PA where i am an Assistance Chief since 1997. The Hauto Fire Dept currently
runs 2 pieces of apparatus. The primary unit is Rescue 1351 and the Special Services unit is 1371. Last year we
responded to 128 calls. ENTFD runs 1 engine which is set up as a squad. Last year they run just around 60 calls. Both departments
are coming along and is always looking for volunteers. I also run with Coaldale Fire Dept, Summit Hill Fire Dept and
with the City of Pottsville Fire Dept (E-11) in the past. I have taken numerous training courses which total well over 1000
hours of certified training.

Favorites
My intrests vary from the great outdoors to nascar but i will try to explain below what I
like to do with my spare time. I love the great outdoors, be it hiking, mtn biking, camping, fishing, or just a drive in the
woods it is so relaxing to be with mother nature. I also like to travel when I can and photography. I also am a hopeless romantic
and I also like nascar racing. I love to try new and fun things.
As far as nascar I was a true Dale Earnhadt Fan since
i was a kid and I was so heart broken when Dale passed on. But life moves on and I know cheer for his son.
